Anyone type for Silent Type? - Sgill

Wondering if anyone out there has any feedback about working for Silent Type? I have done the test and have been told I will interview in two weeks when the position becomes available... I think there is a mandatory 2 day training in NJ? Anyone done this and survived? How's the pay? I was considering going to work for MedQuist because they are taking over one of my current IC accounts but after reading in the MedQuist section I think I'll skip that one. Thanks in advance for any input about Silent Type!

Even if you did choose MQ, there would be no guarantee your account would be in your pool, and in fact, they have so many accounts, the chances could be slim to none.

Yes, that is what I keep thinking as this has happened to me in the past. They are 'promising' to give me preference but judging by all the feedback.. they are not so very trustworthy. If they could give me JUST that account in a part time capacity I'd do it.. just because I love the doctor and he is very loyal to me (not to mention he's the chief medical officer at the hospital and usually gets his way). lol

I have been with Silent Type for a year now. I enjoy the fact we work M-F schedule and no weekends. I also enjoy the fact that we have good QA. I also enjoy the fact we get vacation and bonuses. I also enjoy the fact we are offered health insurance and 401-K. Girls don't forget these perks when you are complaining about the work being light. Is anyone getting work?? I am told there is plenty of work, but keep getting "no jobs available". If you are getting work, when do you get it?? I have flexed every way I know and still get no work. If you are getting work, are you milking the system 24 hours a day to get it??
