need to know how to type a value - faiyth

I hope someone can help me. The doctor is dictating lab results and he clearly says 3 times 10 to the 6 red cells and then again 3 times 10 to the 6 white cells. I've never had this before. Anyone know the correct way to type that out?

Any help will be appreciated.

in my lab book it is 3 X 106/l (the 6 needs to be done in superscript - sunflower

the 6 needs to be done in superscript above the ten, but this gives you an idea. This is from my Sloane's dictionary lab chapter.

Check to see if your platform will allow superscripts or subscripts, most of them dont, so you might have to type out 10 to the 6th or something like that.

3 x 10 to the sixth = 3,000,000 - L&L

10 to the 6th is 10 times itself 6 times, or
10 x 10 x 10 x 10 x 10 x 10 or 1,000,000.
