On a psych consultation the doctors says what sounds like "full psy-A" indicates a high level of obsessiveness. I researched this heavily for an acronym that would match that study and did not find it. I finally decided he was speaking in a clipped manner for "full psychoanalysis". What do you think? This is a new job and a new doc to me, so any help you can offer would be appreciated. ...
Have about 12 hours PTO left and have had to take off here and there due to 'photophobia' so severe I cannot look at the computer screen.
Friend of mine advised me to apply for FMLA in case I have no PTO left and have to take off due to illness, I would be covered and could not be terminated because I had no PTO and could not work.
Anyone with personal experience about this, please reply. I am aware that I must use all my PTO before unpaid FMLA kicks in and that I can only take ...
Hi,
I'm considering filing intermittent FMLA for chronic photophobia. Periodically I cannot look at the monitor and thus cannot work because of it. I have 8 hours PTO left and if I am out of PTO, I need FMLA to cover me taking off without pay.

Line rates: Why are experienced MTs being paid the same rates as newbies?
These MTSOs state that an experienced MT should end up with more money because he/she is able to produce more lines than a newbie. I contest this by stating that experienced MTs are also producing HIGHER QUALITY lines and can do so with less help and less supervision (and, of course, much faster), and even if both the newbie and the experienced MT produced the same number of lines, since the experienced MT's lines ...

Is there anyone here who can tell me why many of the companies who have psych reports only want MTs with 5 or more years experience? I've done a few psych reports and had no problems with them. I find them fascinating and would love to secure a job doing mainly those type of reports (if there are such jobs?). Just wondering why the 5 year requirement? Thank you in advance to anyone who has an answer. ...
