I g an acceptable abbreviation? - Whome

Posted: Sep 21, 2011

I have always spelled out gram but have seen people use g.  Is that acceptable?

Sometimes I find I have been doing something (thinking I had a reason for it) but find out later it was just something I got in my head.  ; )

...get a copy of BOS. I had the online version for awhile but had an awful time finding anything (especially if needed quickly). Since it expired I have been going without.

Thanks a bunch!

If you want a wonderful PDF reader (much better and much faster than Adobe) try this one, it is free.

Also, you can place the bookmarks built into the BOS PDF bookmarks on the left side of this programs screen and browse them.

I have the 2nd edition book and it is a horrid mess for finding anything quickly. I grit my teeth and murmur about how supposedly "professional" people could twist indexing and contents so badly to serve a profession that always demands speed. But I digress.
Thanks, but - Whome

I think I will just go for the paper copy next time. Aside from the other issue, you only have to pay for it once. : )

You're welcome - no more

Feb 18, 2013
