My son's pediatrician says she tried the Dragon product for doctor's to dictate and edit their own work. She says Vyvanse came out as underpants and every time she tried to correct it, it came out something else - even after she spelled it. She gave up -- what a surprise.....
I think that has a place in clinic work, if doctors aren't pressed to see a thousand patients in a day by their employer, but definitely not fit for hospital dictation. Frankly, I wish VR didn't make it this far in our field. Everybody needs work. What will we become as a society/world when all work (not only transcription) is made easier by technology? Ugh....
