Typing in DocQscribe slow with time lag. - Els

Periodically when I type in DocQscribe, it is slow to respond. The letters take a tiny bit of time to show up, and when this is happening, it also is not responding to the foot pedal correctly, seems slower, and if I have it set to rewind a bit when I lift my foot, it doesn't always do this. When this is happening, it sounds like the computer is working harder. I can hear the hard drive running more.
Any suggestions on what might be wrong would be appreciated.

[ In Reply To ..]When this happens I start closing open windows not being used and especially Firefox and IE (figuring it's my less than ideal amount of RAM). Seems to clear it right up for me.

[ In Reply To ..]Thanks for the input. At least I know it's not just me. This happened on my old computer in which the motherboard just died. Now I'm on a refurbished Dell, which has plenty of RAM and seems really fast, but having the same problem with DQS. Closing down windows doesn't seem to make a difference. Mostly I guess I'm just nervous about the new computer, although I do like to see what I'm typing as I type it. The lag is very irritating.

Every site having to do with MQ is as slow as molasses. Other Internet sites whiz along. Trying to check MQ E-mail, clock in, etc. is always a draaaaaaaaggggg. Is it their equipment or poor IT I wonder? Either way, once again makes you wonder about their accuracy on any of our numbers.
