word expander + typos - desperate

I am in need of a text expander that also corrects typographical errors (i.e., corrects teh to the and iwll to will). I know there are several text expander programs out there, but also want one that will correct my typos.

Any advice/help you can offer will be greatly appreciated!

any expander will do that - just helping

All you have to do is put the incorrect word as your "shortcut" and the correct word as your text to type.

I'm one of the old timers who has used WP since I started doing transcription eons ago and the platform I'm currently using won't allow the use of WP and I'm lost without my abbreviations and "typo fixer"

Do you have an expander you would recommend?

I was using PRD with it. When I finally had to switch, I tried Shorthand on the 30-day free trial, and ended up buying it. I found it quite easy to learn; plus, I was able to import my PRD expansion file into it.

Loved PRD back in the day with the nesting - sm

and able to add the "endings" without having to actually create a new shortcut. Miss it.

I have Word 2010 and that's what I use to work in but the autotext is awful. I used to be able to type my shortcut and it would automatically pop up when I pressed the spacebar but now with 2010 I have to hit enter which just slows me way down. Also they used to be able to be captilized or not depending on what I typed it in but now, whatever case I save it in is what it comes up as. It's just a pain and I am slowed way down. think it would be worth it to purchase something like Instant Text. But I'm worried that if Word crashes, my computer crashes, I change jobs, etc that I will lose my entire expander file.
