Hi,
I am trying to find out what word expander system seems to work the best. What do you like about them or dislike? I generally use the autocorrect feature, but my expanders are disappearing. Thanks for all your help.

is that IT 7 automatically eliminates automatic spacing after the last sentence of a paragraph when pressing Enter.
In version V you had to get rid of the extra spaces at the end of a paragraph when you had automatic spacing on via a macro. If you didn't, you could be accused of line padding.
- You can import previously used shortcut lists with a few clicks.
- You can start out with glossaries that come with Instant Text ready to be used.
- You can use more shortcuts than you can memorize.
- You don't have to create each new entry one by one.
- You can use dedicated short forms, but you don't have to.
- You can use the same shortcut for different expansions.

When you do VR editing Instant Text can help in several ways.
The Instant Text glossaries can be reference glossaries based on the fact that you can pull up any entry without having to memorize short forms. For instance, you can see any of the thousand drug names of the Drugs glossary come up by typing just a few letters, and then you can verify their spellings.
If you have to replace a word or a whole paragraph, your expansions will be always at your fingertips.
Most important, you can use an editing glossary where you create all the command entries that correct the frequently occurring VR mistakes you want to correct with easy-to-type short forms without your fingers leaving the home row.
To add a period and capitalize the next word you would have an entry such as:
{command}.{Space}{Right}{Shift Ctrl Right}{Capitalize}{NoSpacing}
with a short form of your choice and a Display as form that could be
Add period - capitalize
To delete a period and uncapitalize you could have an entry such as:
{command}{Shift Left}{Delete}{Delete}{Right}{Shift Right}{Lowercase}{Ctrl Right}{NoSpacing}
assuming you have your focus after the period you want to delete. Again you can have a Display as form that shows up and tells you exactly what this entry will do.
A couple of Facebook fans mentioned this:
- You can run commands from SR software. (liked by BVS)
- Pick list, typo glossary, enrich, compilation, continuations... all these release a world of possibilities! (liked by CTJ)
