Teamwork: how to request PTO hours - Hubby of harassed MT

Her CCM has told her to request PTO hours using TW. She (and I) have searched every buttom, menu, and left-click pick-list we could find, with no joy, in that miserably travesty of software. She called 1 800 dictate and the nice Indian gentleman there first proved he was even more ignorant of what TW can do then we are, then firmly stated that it "can't be done. Ask your CCM to do it." Anyone want to help?

does yours not say "Leave" at the top? - see message

My top ribbon says my last name, then some other things, one of which is Leave. Click on Leave. Then there's a green cross and next to that says Add Leave Request. You can probably figure it out from there.

She and I just couldn't imagine that Leave covered PTO. The clues all seemed to shout "months off without pay". You know, "leave".

Maybe his wife is so frustrated that she needed to walk away from the computer for a bit and asked her husband to help her. Maybe she had to go to the bathroom. Maybe she's making a beverage and having some dinner.

We are both 70 plus, and for 52 years she has controlled my life, which is okay if you have my approach to life.

But she is computer phobic, barely able to hold on against DocuScribe. Everything else is all mine to try to dope out. At her last training conference call she was like a deer in the headlights, while I flailed along in the background.

She is good, very good, but yes I must check the timesheet, do Remedy, this forum, whatever.

Unless privacy is involved, of course.

I've been logging in and out all day and every time I log in there is NJA. I can see in the back log that our region is wiped out. So, when I'm in Teamwork, do I list my shift as "excused absence no work" or "PTO unscheduled", if I want to be paid for my shift? I can't afford to take it off with no pay because I need the income for my first insurance premium coming out this check. Is "excused absence no work", unpaid? Thanks in advance! ...

Just wondering if anyone knows if what we as MT's see on/in our Teamwork/leave requests is exactly what TSA/Teamwork sees?
