I just bought a Boostaroo sound booster last weekend. I like that I can plug up to 3 headphones in it (as I use a couple different ones for different types of dictation).
What is troubling me, is the first time I used it, I had my computer control volume settings where I wanted them (sound, wave, etc.) and any adjusting I did in my platform volume control was separate (so any added volume was additional), or at least that is the way it appeared it was working.
Yesterday when I worked it didn't seem as loud, and I realized that every time I adjusted my volume in the plaform, it changed my computer wave settings (up and down, whichever I was doing at the time).
Have any of you who use sound boosters noticed how yours works? Is there anything I can do to keep the platform adjustment from messing with the computer settings?
Also, any idea how long batteries tend to last with these things? This one uses 2 AA batteries.
Thanks for any help you can give me!
