IE for Firefox and what a difference in speed!

I tried to test for TransTech, but my IE 9 isn't compatible with their test. IE 8 is and so is Firefox. Is it true that once you've installed IE 9 you can't go back to IE 8? Can I install Firefox, use it just for the test, then delete without causing any technical problems such as erasing duplicate files, etc? (I get frequent messages that I'm running out of space). I have never been able to run much above 150 lph average doing VR for my company. It is so horrid, I can usually type it quicker. I cannot even imagine how anybody is doing 400-500 lph average. I've been transcribing for 23 years. I recently got switched to pretty much all ASR and I really like it. However, the pay is only 4 cents per line plus my shift differential, so that's 4.75 cents per line. I started ASR three days ago. I find it totally non-stressful, pleasant, and interesting. I've only done straight transcription in the past and just got hired by a company who apparently does both SR and transcription...can anyone give me info on their experiience as far as if I will make the same amount doing editing for SR as I would transcribing?
