Nuance horrible for references - Frustratedmt2

Nuance is horrible for giving references needed for new job but should have figured. Now they are holding me back from getting another job how nice, glad they can manage ti pay their bills but hold others back frim doing the same!!!

I have no idea what they are saying, I was told that they will only give dates that you worked for them. This doesn't really help when you're looking for a job that need an actual reference and not just dates that you worked for a company. Still frustrated by Nuance.

This was when I inquired because of course I need a part time job at all times thanks to the terrible pay Nuance offers. So do you think they are badmouthing you? I think many companies just give the dates now since they want to avoid lawsuits and it can be very subjective.

current employer, they usually give a former supervisor, manager, etc that has personal knowledge of their work and has agreed to provide a reference. If you're counting on Nuance in general, they have no idea about personal information on you or how you performed your job. I can assure you, with legality issues, they are not bad mouthing or dogging you in their reference.

Use your former TSM, TL, or someone who is familiar with you and your work ethic. That is how a reference is usually given.

You can't say, "Oh she was horrible." You can't say, "OMG, she was fantastic."

You can basically confirm dates of employment and whether you would rehire the person or not.

Do they owe you any back pay? Unpaid OT? - Or vacation? NJA wait time? SM

Maybe you could sue them for any pay you earned, but failed to receive.

when calling for a job reference are your employment start and end dates and whether or not the company will rehire you. That is all they are required to give and typically all they will give due to potential law suits, as the others have stated.

I'm baffled...I applied with Patient First through Careerbuilder. I had recruiters pursuing me for months, I get back to them and they tell me I'll be coming to Virginia for testing that I did awesome on the first test, yada yada yada...then I get a call from HR because I didn't fill out the profile on the Patient First website, and now they're all gung ho about references! I know there are a lot of comments on here about M-modal being horrible and I have to definitely agreed, it is the only VR I have used so nothing to really compare it to but cannot do many more lines per hour than I transcribe (usually about 275 lph or so), anyone willing to share how much they do on M-modal and how long the account has been on VR? Hey everybody, I just needed to vent a little bit. I started my first day on my first job, and it went absolutely horrible. I was using the Emdat InScribe platform, which seems easy enough, but they have sooo many templates that the doctor should be using and isn't. My first few reports were okay, but then everything went downhill. I'm supposed to use the templates, but half the time, I had to erase 3/4 of them because it wasn't what he was saying. I would just like to say that Nuance is ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE! If you are thinking about working for this company, DON'T! Second, I was wondering if anyone knows who I can call about my pay check. Since I got laid off from Webmedx in September I've been on unemployment. I tried to work for Alltype and couldn't do it. The pay was alright but the support was awful, they just threw me into the job with no training, hardly any information on my accounts, no contact whatsoever from supervisors.
