Nothing like getting several nasty notes in email on the last day of the pay period with no chance of making them up before payday ends....and this is supposed to be random!

they have up until about an hour before timesheets done (in this case, Monday) to audit, so it could get better or worse.

Why torture yourself? You are still going to be late, so why cause yourself anxiety and depression?

Why learn these stupid Nuance rules? There is someone on here who freaks out about the difference between QA and QC. Tough. Who cares? It really doesn't matter to us, except that all the Qs get paid more than us, that's the extent of what we know or care.

I care not at all about the mechanisms of the "grid." It doesn't help me to keep checking my emails, only to find at the last minute I got another bomb throwing QA report that sinks my pay. You have to be a masochist to learn those rules or care, because inevitably you are let down big time and you have ABSOLUTELY no control over it.

I put this to you, Nuance: No one wants to make errors that reduce their pay. No one is doing any less than their best.

That is all you need to know to protect you from the Nuance abuse machine known as FIESA. Mistakes happen. To everyone. Only we get our pay cut because of them, and that's just not fair.

The fact some stupid nitpicker gets you at the last minute and gets a feather in their cap for cutting our already miniscule pay is the endpoint and what you will find EVEN IF you pore over all the stats, the grid, the meanings of QA, QC, etc.

How does it help to know your doom? We are screwed and I for one will not devote one extra minute to figuring out how or why. It just does not matter.

I only know I have to protect myself mentally and my self worth and to do this I try to avoid FIESA completely unless I know it's a reversal I can win (and even then it's a crap shoot).

I am sorry to see people still work for Nuance. They were the very WORST company I ever worked for, hands down. They find every excuse to ruin a pay check and did for the entire time I worked there. They constantly change accounts on you, change rules, change this and change that..I used to think they wanted everyone to quit! They knew I was a slower typer so after I was locked into insurance they moved me from half editing to a very hard typing only account which literally took my pay check each pay period. I decided enough was enough and left. You just couldn't pay me enough to go back there! I give kudos to those who still struggle to make MTing work for them. I gave up entirely.

Good grief. I did not change the way I edit. It so depends on how many commas they think you should have. I really think the easiest way to send MModal a message would be if everyone, and I mean everyone, just did not participate. I think that would be the loudest message of all that we do not give a flying cr** about their "games" anymore. OMG, what a horrible time I'm having. This pay I'm not even averaging my minimum. All around the country again. What happened to lock down?
