You may think the new pay scale is working in your favor but just because you have had one good week or two doesn't mean every week will be like that. Yes I may have had a good week here or there but who wants to live that way, not knowing from week to week what they are making? and you may be up 100 bucks this pay period but don't get too comfy..I am sure NuTS will find a way to bring it back down again. I'm just saying..don't get too happy just yet...

I agree. I had a great week making the 13 dollar an hour range, but then the next due to secondary account work and having to QA went down to minimum wage!! They really need to not punish pay for the amount of QA we send. I don't send my reports to QA just on a whim, I blank when in doubt for medication dosages etc.. If they truly care about patient care like they're always saying, they will stop punishing MT's pay for sending to QA! Sorry for the rant! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everyone!!

I am not an idiot and realize this, but thanks anyway for trying to rain on my parade. I have been with this company for a long time (too long) and nothing will ever surprise me but I am happy with my last 2 weeks pay so thanks for your encouragement. There isn't much good these days you can find with this profession. but I will take it where I get it. Have a great Christmas!!

I too have seen an increase in pay and, although, I realize this may not happen every week, I am pretty happy with it anyway. Look around at other MT jobs. Not paying much over 7 cpl these day. At least we have a chance to make more that. Sometimes you have to look at the upside. I for one am happy to have a job. Keep up the good work newbutold!

I too would rather look on the upside as it does me no good to just constantly complain other than stress me out and raise my blood pressure. No job is worth that. I will do my job as I always have, no different. I still take pride in what I do.

scale has worked for me for the first 2 weeks. I realize it may not always be that way. One major error and it could all down the toilet. In the meantime, I'm very thankful for right now. Merry Christmas!

I did my last ASR for MModal last Friday and started my new job today. My heart goes out to all of you trying to keep your heads above water with Mmodal. So this check should've had my training pay, a full week and another half week's worth of work. Nope! They are not even putting out anything that makes sense, lots of gibberish, sometimes made-up words, and is taking a huge amount of time to edit this bunk. Some KSMTs posted they got paid today, some got paid on the 1st. This tells me this was not an issue with late line counts or the payroll guru asking them to kindly roll payroll ahead a few days. Truth has to be they do not have the money available to make payroll and had to pick and choose who to pay based on the money available. Lets see if i make 3/6 a line that comes to 250 x 0.03 = 7.50 an hour -- wow minimum wage. 150 x 0.06 = 9.00 an hour -- McDonald's wages. At 4/7 250 x 0.04 = 10.00 an hour - Do you see the different 1 cents makes? 150 x 0.07 = 10.50 an hour even if you did slightly better and could do 300 lines an hour editing you would only get 9.00 an hour.
