After experiencing horrendous outcomes with the Fiesa Fiasco since December, I thought I had seen it all. Nope... This week, I was audited on a report that although had my ID#, was not one I had typed, or even an account I work on. This was the ONLY report audited for the pay period, and was right at 98%; AND the ONLY REPORT AUDITED FOR THE PAY PERIOD, go figure. Now it's been 4 days since I discovered this error, my time card has NOT been corrected, I have been sent our infamous "metrics" with the wrong information on it, and have not received any replies from my TSM that worth their weight in dirt. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? Has anyone else experienced this dilemma? Why are our livelihoods at the hands of a company that lets incompetents run it? If I had something better lined up, yes I would be gone.

[ In Reply To ..]I have experienced this nonsense. Absolutely unbelievable that it goes on as much as it does. The report was NOT typed by me, and wasn't even on the platforms I work on. My TSM did straighten it out, but made it out to be no big deal which infurated me to no end. OUR PAY DEPENDS ON THIS! It's hard enough dealing with the BS of FIESA, so to get low-scoring reports that are NOT EVEN OURS is outrageous. I am completely furious about it. It's criminal, like so many of SCREWance's business practices are. But FIESA and the pay grid "aren't punitive"?!?!

[ In Reply To ..]and I hate it. But if you don't, you could very well have your pay reduced possibly for errors that aren't even your own. One time there was a report that I knew I didn't do (I can only imagine the ones that slip through that I didn't do but just don't really remember) -- but this one I know I didn't do...and it failed a post audit at under 99%. Emailed TSM, no response. Called 3 times and finally she answers and the reply I get is that I "shouldn't worry so much, I can get this fixed for you."

I wonder if because a lot of those people quit after their pay was lowered and they got new ones? I'm not even sure if the ones auditing us got their pay lowered or if it was those other people doing anything other than post-audit or post-audit M, whatever that is.

I am requesting a reversal for this week but last week was my mistake. The thing is though that they only audited 1 job last week and this week when before they were doing 3 or 4.

I had one report where "evidently" I missed an 's' on the end of "night". BOOM there is a 0.25 pointer,bring it down to 99.whatever. Then,I had another report audited where I completely missed a word (so they say),and got one of the 0 point errors. WTH? Inconsistency at its best.
Best part of all? Likely it was not even a real document, but a - fake one with planted errors to catch.

Lawyers can and should be prepared to depose every MD who ever dictated one of these in the name of "training." Then, in turn, every QC who audited one of these, every QA that audited that person, on, and on, and on. I will especially enjoy watching the TSMs as they squirm and wiggle and attempt to pass it all off on HR..."but, but, but, they said it was all legal."

[ In Reply To ..]I had the same thing happen. I found the mistake the same day they audited it. I reversed it that day and sent an email to my TSM. Nothing was ever done about it. It was a 97% audit on it and screwed me over bad! They never reversed it. I quit immediately. Start sending complaints to the BBB, JCAHO, the Dept. of Labor and anyone else you can think of! What they are doing is ILLEGAL! Then get out if you can and fast! I have seen too much dirty stuff going on in this company.

So I went in to check my FIASCO while I was OOW. Stupid QA took "Patient has undergone biopsy" to "Patient has underwent biopsy." These things have to come from India with a mistake like that. These are my initials or number or whatever on this report, and I don't want some pariah in India changing things around to their version of "correct" English. Sorry about the rant. ...

I knew I shouldn't have looked at my FIESA from Saturday but I did. Majority are 100% so for that I am grateful but THEN there are the others where you are marked off for stuff that make no sense and then there are the stupid errors that I did and will own up to and wonder where my brain was when I was typing - I think my brain was so worried about being marked off for every little thing that I honestly can't concentrate sometimes like I need to. ...

I know we complain and complain about this on here and we fight and argue with the TLs about this...I was marked off half a point for EACH blank that I left on a dictation that the tape cut out. The only explanation from QA was that "it was clearly understood". I am just wondering how it was clearly understood. Okay, first quarter FIESA reviewed about 80 reports of mine and I actually got my incentive. Now for this quarter, I am wavering on not getting my incentive with a 98.88 and for the past few weeks they have not reviewed a single one of my reports. I smell something fishy. our post-audit reports are randomly pulled. If you score high enough to get the bonus, your reports are gone through by the hatchet queens in India until they can find a report they can "audit" to bring you below 99%. If you are kicked back to 98.99%, they still meet their contract requirements to the client, and Nuance does not have to pay you a bonus. ...

I almost always get my critical errors on one particular doctor who I think I understand and then it turns out I miss something. I think there is a way to do a report on critical errors and see if I can trend the dictator but I can't figure out how. Does anybody know? And before you tell me to ask my TSM I did but as usual never got an answer. ...

Much as I dislike FIESA and all this QA, what I really hate is finding out I've been typing something WRONG for 30 years. The only thing I can say for myself is some QA decades ago filled it in for me and I didn't look it up. Been typing Campo's fascia instead of Camper's fascia. Took a 1-point post-audit hit on it, too. Shakes me up, what else have I been doing wrong for 30 years? And will it knock me out of bonus territory next quarter... ...

I just got a post-audit review with 4 points deducted for 1 critical and 1 major error that were made by QA1 after I submitted a report with blanks by the dictator from hell. I'm so mad and all the things you can imagine, not to mention I'm sitting here bawling from total frustration. ...

I must admit, I never looked at FIESA, not only because it was depressing and humiliating, but its not the most user friendly site. My manager was constantly badgering me for not looking at it though and actually had me try to get on the other day when she called. How do other people get away with not looking at it? Just for "fun," I counted how many times I prevented a critical patient safety error today by catching the speaker saying the wrong age, gender, right vs. left, hyper versus hypo, you get the picture. I quit counting at 8. Never in my many years at Nuance have I made 8 CPSEs in 1 day. So are we getting credit for the good work we do? Not very likely. ...

I was having a good day, until I went into Fiesa...I have decided that one particular dictator--who speaks what he probably considers fluent English (He is American), is going to review for every report because he is the one I get poor scores on... I am constantly guessing if he said "and" or "in" or "on," and I missed a period....he backtracks, leaves words out, stumbles, and CANNOT pronounce even the simpelist of medications...let alone spell them, he spells them wrong too, hard to even under ...

The more they ding me for stupid stuff, the more mistakes I make. I know their goal is to prevent us from getting the quarterly bonus and I've never been able to get it anyway, so why try? I have to wonder where it is written that we comply with FIESA and what the consequences are when we don't, except for emails and the shaming of the numbers of those who have not complied.
