I was moved OFF an account because I was doing the lines that could be carved up to 2 newer MTs with resulting OOW messages for MONTHS without being "permitted" another backup.
Then, I get this after being on not 1 but 2 new accounts in the past 6 weeks. The tone in this email just oozes "respect," you know?
She must know I'm talking about her...
"Please remember that your QC exclusion percentage must be maintained under 10%, unless you are learning a new account. We need to address our LPH and quality issues immediately. You must consistently maintain at or above a 99% quality rating in order to meet Nuance standards for an MLS position. Please make every effort to bring this percentage up as soon as possible if yours is below 99%. I will be contacting you individually for LPH and quality issues, as these must be addressed immediately. Please let me know if you have any questions."
She should have also signed it, with love.
Same thing happened to me, essentially unofficially booted off of my primary account that I'd built up experience on (including multiple samples) for over 8 months because it was supposedly an "easier" account that was good for training newbies, so they were overassigned to it. That was really the final straw for me. I figured if I had to start all over from scratch learning new accounts, I might as well just do that somewhere else.
Yes, I did go to another company, and I love the atmosphere and the people there, every single one of them (the first time in my MT career I can say that), but unfortunately, they've overhired and I'm suffering from OOW again. Hard for me to say much of anything because I think I'm one of the overhirees. I sit here waiting for some natural attrition to hopefully occur, though I still see ads being posted for my side's accounts, so it may just be a continuing issue here too, darn it. Looking into something supplemental like Rev now so I can have something to do during those times when my work runs out towards the end of my shift.
