clarify. Is QC paid hourly or not?

if MLS, QC, and QA are all production-based, then everyone will be trying to do as many LPH as they can -- hence, QA will probably skip stupid non-error "errors" they like to ding for so as to not slow themselves down...

but how logically does anything really work at this company? won't know how it all works out until it happens i'm guessing.

Likely their pay will drop when going from hourly to production, just like ours did. They'll also likely be subject to bogus "bonus opportunities" too, just we like we were. So guess whose paychecks QC will end up having to ding in order to make their own minimums? You guessed it!

It's going to strictly lph-based and their own QA scores... and I assume QA will be the same way, since they QA each other.. like a vicious hornets nest.

That was the old (incentive) plan that was suppose to go into effect over a year ago and never happened. This new plan is strictly LPH and their own QA %; has nothing to do with filling blanks or finding errors.

You are absolutely wrong. Production points will play - into pay plan. That is the reason

they are having a difficult time rolling it out yet. I'm almost out of here in 10 more days so I don't really care, but whereever you're getting your info from, you are wrong. If it were a simple line rate and lph requirement, they would have put it out on time without the holdup while they still figure it out. It will be as punitive as the MLS grid plan is. The original dumped production point bonus plan has nothing to do with the new pay plan coming up. Ten more days and I'm out of here. Good luck to the rest of you.

It just gets uglier and uglier. This company blows. Sorry QA and QC are going through this, as well. For sure, the helpful, knowledgeable QA and QC folks we had left over from WMX will all be leaving, if they have not left already. Not really seeing familiar names anymore. It is a sad day.

If they are going to pay you hourly and gave you a rate, I don't want to know that. If they are going to pay production, I would be curious to know what they offered you for a production rate, if you would be so kind.

One of my providers is going to switch over to EMR. I've looked into the program and it's got a similar document section to MS Word. However, with them going to EMR, I'm assuming I'll lose quite a bit of my bulk work (macros, etc) that I currently have with "straight typing." What minimum LPH do we have to make to keep out of trouble with our team leaders? What is our minimum wage amount at Nuance? I got hired and no one even told me what our pay is (other than .04/.08 line). would it be a more tolerable thing? My current job is currently straight transcription but don't know how long that will last. I know of a job opening with VR at an hourly rate, but have always hated VR in the past. The contemplated position uses the Mmodal/Docuscribe and looks simpler than the systems I used in the past. Do you think I should I hang on to what I have, even with a recent reduction in pay, or go for the hourly VR that also has better benefits? ...

Sentence dictated as "She also has a small C5/6 {s/l DISS}." He's really emphasizing the "ISS" sound. I know it would make sence for it to be disc, but the sentence sounds incomplete to me? I feel like there should be herniation or protrusion or bulging at the end of the sentence if it were "disc"? Could the "diss" sounding word be short for something? Thank you!! ...

what they offer in terms of compensation with all the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for the QA/MT positions. When you read it, it sounds like the person/persons they are looking for would bring a lot of experience and talent to their company.
