25 years ago, I had an hourly wage of $11.50 (before I got into transcription), while the minimum wage was $3.35. So I was making 3x minimum wage. A $15.00 minimum wage would equate to 375 lines per hour at .04 per line. That's 3000 lines a day for an 8 hour day! The best I have ever done was 2700 lines editing in an 8 hour day and that was only once and someplace where I had been doing the same doctors for 6 years.
