I don't think there is a North locking out going on....no need for mass hysteria yet. Just the same old NJA off and on at least for me, just fighting for work all the time. It's become the norm now.

So far there is testing with one group of MTs- yes you are locked out of Docuscribe unless you are scheduled to work- no starting late or ending late and you must go to the swap board to pick up hours if god forbid your life gets in the way of your job

i didn't think we had the swap board yet - i'm not in north - how long have u had it?

haven't started that yet. Our CCM gives us a 30-minute leeway for our starting time, 30 minutes earlier or 30 minutes later. So I guess that means we will no longer have that? Gheesh, I had more flexibility back when I used to work in an office. This place gets worse and worse as times goes on. . . . Really, what else are they going to think of so that they can micromanage us out of our homes? I bet the people working at headquarters even have more flexibility than this!

it's going to work. I wonder what happens when we get NJA and CCM requests we work outside our shift? I think it's going to make it harder to make up the NJA. We are now going to have to be very schedule specific for exactly when we can work. No more "I can do a couple of hours on blah blah day." Now it's going to have to be "I can work 10-2 on blah blah day."

The only somewhat good thing I can see about it is the schedule swapping part. That is, as long as we don't have to get CCM approval beforehand to swap. If we can just swap hours ourselves, it might not be too bad of a deal.

in the MIDDLE of my shift on the weekend so part of it falls in one week and part in the next week.

It's an incredible pain in the gluteus maximum working aroud it as it is. This will be just too much to deal with.

I lose anywhere from 4-8 hours per month due to maintenance and find myself making it up whenever there are excess jobs to be done. How the heck are we supposed to predict that and give an absolute time when we will make it up?

I've used Express Scribe for years and years, however, lately it has been locking up on me and the only way I have found to get it unlocked is literally shutting my computer down and restarting. I am using V4.15. Has this happened to anyone else? It doesn't even shut it down through task manager. I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling and so far can't find anything that has helped or made a difference. Any ideas? ...

I'm very excited to venture out of the home, moving in a direction I will be appreciated by someone and feel I have a purpose. I had a bad experience with the company that trained me, so I was wondering what you guys would recommend for her? Here's my dilemma. QA/audit/whatever says that Alzheimer disease is the proper usage. Webmd, Mayo, NIH, and the disease webites, alz.com Alzheimer's website says it is Alzheimer's disease. I know and accept the fact (albeit grudgingly) that ASR and offshoring are the wave of the future, but do you think that as the economy improves that things will cycle and what we do will once again become valued with the recognition of our value being reflected in higher salaries? A few weeks ago, for no reason that I can find, I cannot get the first letter of a sentence to be in all caps automatically, (unless I do it manually.) The same for the letter " I " by itself when typed. It was always automatic and now all of a sudden it is doing this and I cannot figure out how to change it back. Has anybody else had this problem, if so, how did you fix it? Thanks, appreciate the help ...
