Turnaround Times - MT Bottle

Actually things were already starting to go downhill at that point. That publication was nothing more than propaganda. If you read between the lines they were trying to manipulate us even then. I will agree though that things have really gone to h@ll since then.
mt bottle - you are so right

I think back to the past 5 years and feel like such an IDIOT for not reading between the lines. It was all there in black and white, yet I bought into all the rah rah nonsense. It's digusting.
And let's not forget - MT Bottle

This is around the time when they were screwing us out of lines and...pulling one over on the clients as well. I get so upset when I see folks coming on here and claiming to "hope" things get better. AAARRRGGGGHHHH
Everything MQ sends out is propaganda . . . - We should have a contest . . .

A prize to someone who can remember ALL of the proganda and bullcrap programs that MQ has offered up.
I just love the QA one -- Where they sent all the QAs emails saying that if they don't jump ship, they will make 40 dollars or more an hour as an MME.
What a crock!!!!!!

Let Go Three Times And Called Back Again May 04, 2010Why does an employer, who let you go three times in three different type of work settings, yet call me back again to work for them? It is like they had a layoff a year ago with all this BS in mind. They have to know that I would hate to go back there with all this wishy-washy stuff; it is almost like they did it on purpose so that it would be a year and they could see if they could get something for nothing. I am having enough trouble trying to get out of this insane "career" without this type o ...
Woo! Good Times! Jul 28, 2010I just started a 22 minute consult from one of my ESL doctors and the next one in line is a 36 minute consult from a Chinese doctor. He stutters and stops and starts and that 36 minutes will probably net me 100 lines or so. Gotta love it! ...

Read So Many Good Things About Opti-Script Jan 07, 2010I have read so many good things about Opti-Script - tested recently but no openings right now. Low turnover rate - which is GOOD! So I'll wait.....So many slave shop companies out there - I don't want to go that route. Talked with some companies and tested with some. BTW, one gripe I have - testing for a company - and knowing you did well, but absolutely NO REPLY!!! Webmedx - So I Heard That They Fired All The Good Mgrs And Now Are Taking Away Things From Everyone? Apr 26, 2011I heard it used to be a good place where you had 10 to 12 hours to do your shift? Good News! Smartype Is Back! Feb 18, 2012I'm so happy there is a new version of Smartype that has been released. It now works with newer versions of Word, i.e. Word 2007 and 2010 and works with other software including Outlook. It's even better than the original. I was using the old version of Smartype even though it had glitches when working with Word 2003. You can try it before you buy it, a definite plus. I highly recommend downloading this software. To me, it is a must for the medical transcriptionist to boost productivit ...

Turnaround Time Transcription - Mystery May 14, 2015I have never had this difficult a time researching a transcription company as this one. They are the great unknown. Even on this forum no-one knows anything about them. I congratulate them for knowng how to keep themselves off the radar, but it makes me suspicious of them. I remember reading about them a while back, and that you can work at home but you wind up making around $9 an hour. If anyone has current information about them from 2015, please post it. Pe ...
Turnaround Time Transcription Lost Accounts Oct 06, 2012I used to work for 3-T and they lost accounts so we let go. Now have been in touch with them because they have obtained new accounts. Anyone else in this position? I think I would like to work for them again but reading the recent posts about the company causes me concern. The glitch now is about the computer. I can use my own if I upgrade or buy one from company. Not sure what to do here and now I feel like I am getting a bit of a runaround on the subject. My initial excitement is ...

Pretty Sad Apr 30, 2011A local real estate company in my area offers a document shredding day every 6 months or so. I have a ton of old papers that need to be shreaded so I was going through some of them tonight and I came across a bid given to my boss when I worked in the Radiology Dept. in a large HMO back in 1986. It was a bid from a transcription service trying to get the contract for the outpatient Radiology. My boss gave it to me as I was the Sr. Transcriptionist; we were union and no way was ...

Need SHORTHAND Help ASAP!! Pretty Please! Oct 16, 2009When using Shorthand, I type a word and then if I have to put a comma after the expanded work the word comes up again.
Example: I type my abbreviation for "however" and put a comma after it and it looks like this: "howeveowever,"
This happens with every word that gets expanded and then I type a comma after.
What's up with that and can anybody help? I can't seem to find anything in the Shorthand Guidebook. ...
People Are Really Pretty Nice On Here Feb 05, 2010I've noticed that all-in-all, people are pretty nice on here. There are a few negative people and people who jump to conclusions and take things the wrong way, but those are very few. Most of the people here are quick to try to help when others need advice to improve their production or find a job. That's so refreshing. ...
