I have never had this difficult a time researching a transcription company as this one. They are the great unknown. Even on this forum no-one knows anything about them. I congratulate them for knowng how to keep themselves off the radar, but it makes me suspicious of them. I remember reading about them a while back, and that you can work at home but you wind up making around $9 an hour. If anyone has current information about them from 2015, please post it. People have been inquiring about them on this site since 2009, without success. Thank you.

Doesn't the term "no news is good news" apply in this forum? All I read here are people complaining about one thing or another. I always read responses to posts asking what companies are good to work for, but nobody wants to reply with an answer in fear of over-hiring and the dreaded "NJA".

Turnaround Time Transcription was acquired by Emdat (the former technology company) when Emdat started down the path of providing labor services with their technology. And as we now know, Emdat was acquired by Nuance a couple years ago. (Emdat was their strongest competitor in the ambulatory services market, so they just goggled them up!) Just like MedQuist goggled up MModal, and so on, and so on.

With all due respect...you are VERY mistaken about them being acquired by MDAT. Where did you get this information because I would love to read it?? I've been working for 3T for over 10 years and the ownership hasn't changed. It's still the same people running the operation as the first day I started working for them. They are not affiliated with MDAT or anyone else.

I've also followed a lot of posts here. All it takes is for someone to say something negative or incorrect and others follow along believing what they are reading.

My advice to everyone, not just the original poster, is to try a company out and judge for yourself.

But this is the point I am trying to make. You only posted a link to their website without any other info, I assumed it was in response to the other post. My apologies to you.

3T has not been acquired by another entity and I'm sure the readers believed the earlier post. I'm also sure a lot of erroneous posts are believed too. Anyone can come here and talk about their experience, but that's exactly what it is...THEIR experience. All transcriptionists are not the same. One MT might make $9/hr (as mentioned earlier) while another makes twice as much, based on their experience, work ethic and dedication.

that there are multiple posters in this thread, me included. I never said anything about this company being acquired by anybody. I was simply responding to the OP who said she could not find any info on them. I found it and posted it. that does not mean I have to respond to the person who said that it was acquired by someone else. You need to go back and look at the progression of this thread. "On Google" was responding to the ORIGINAL POST. You jumped in and asked for a link (to WHAT, you didn't specify), WHICH SHE PROVIDED.

What she did made sense. Not sure why you're gunning for HER. As far as I can see, nobody has attacked the company you work for AT ALL. Get a grip!

I got an email from On-time transcription for an IC position, but I first have to do a lot of steps just to be considered and just before I test, which is so darn time consuming and odd. First, I have to read their website, download their software, read QA instructions and booklet, etc and then when I verify that I did all that, email them for the test---Geez, have anyone worked for them. Does anyone know where an MT can work very part-time and have American dictators - I am a retired MT - I quit because I was getting too many ESLs and lots of the good dictators were going to India - sometimes I miss it as retirement isn't for everyone but if I could just make my own hours and be very part-time I would consider it. It's sad to see all of the same transcription companies on the job boards hiring, and it seems by reading the boards none of them are worth working for. Hi, I recently spoke to someone from Turn Around Time Transcription. I had found their ad on mtjobs.com. Does anyone have any knowledge of this company? They use the Medrite XL platform and the owner told me all the transcriptionists said it was an easy platform to work on, but then I looked it up and MTs were complaining about the line counts being so low. It has been inconvenient, and maybe a bit confusing at times, to check my time card hours for my shift as, because of my time zone, part of my hours show up on the next day because I work 2nd shift. I wonder if I will get overtime for yesterday, even though I did not work overtime.
