Out of work again in the North - when willl it end

Ok, this is getting down right ridiculous! They obviously do not have enough work for all the people they have. Why cant they just lay us off? I cant keep signing on each day to nothing. Where is there work in this company? How do some of you get one account and consistent work and I have access to every account in the BOB and have nothing!

I guess it is another 2 weeks with no food in my house.

it has been very low in the mornings - but picks up a lot in the afternoons.

or if you choose to flex, go where you have to in order to get work. Ya'll really need to start doing what you need to do and stop worrying about shifts, obviously the company doesn't give work on our shifts. It's dog eat dog, as created by our employer and only the pit bulls will survive.

My TSM/CCM/abbreviation of the month is a stickler about your schedule and warns you monthly about adherance and performance management. I get that there is no work, but you still have to attempt to work on your own schedule, plus work on every other schedule. This cant be the answer. So when they say this is a 24/7 job, that means we are now to work 24/7? I have other obligations! I cannot keep checking back 24/7. Who is routing this work? Why cant I have work from another region where there is work?

They might be trying to get me to quit, who knows, but I am not going to. I have been collecting unemployment since October. I will continue to do so. I dont care. I need the break anyway. This is just plain ridiculous that this company does this. Turns employees into a "Pit Bull."

as your TSM, I really don't care what mine says, I work when there is work, no matter what shift, if I feel like it. I've been through so much performance management it isn't funny for speaking my mind about this company and I don't care anymore. I have filed for UE and am waiting for it to kick in. I'm not disagreeing with the lousy management we have, but that is no excuse for me to go without a paycheck. You say you are on UE, good for you. That is what I am saying to people. Either flex, if you want, or file UE. Yes it is ridiculous. WoofWoof!

too and I feel your pain. I should have 16 hours in for the week and only have 2, and like you have access to every account in BoB. I don't believe any of our accounts in my BoB have gone over to India I cannot help to wonder. I just think we are overstaffed and have been since TSM mergers as I did not have a problem before that.

understand how a company can hire EMPLOYEES, demand a schedule and minimum hour & production requirements but do not supply work for us to do!!! I do not want anyone to get laid off but something has got to give here.

hope you are applying for unemployment. MQ is EVIL for not just laying MTs off (when the off-shore more work, which is another form of evil)...but the least they could do is have mercy and do lays offs so MTs can get UI while finding another job. and my supervisor's BOB has been pretty much empty for really the last month or more. I have had maybe 10 jobs of my primary, secondary and so on accounts that Im familiar with for at least 2 weeks. When I do get jobs from these accounts a lot of them have been hard to hear (background noise and such), some of the ASR reports have been horrible with a lot of added words and whole sentences left out.
