You have got to be kidding! No work in the north again. Please someone tell us what is going on.

I would be on the phone calling anyone and - everyone till I got some work

I would find a list of all CCMs and call each one asking if they have an account that needs help and get that work routed to you. This is crazy.

I know you think it would be that easy but the CCMs in the North are just reading the script they have been given- Slow work due to _______ (hurricane, holiday weekend, beginning of school, etc). What they can't tell us is that either our accounts are moving over to India or lost to another service or once again they have overhired. The accounts that do have work are locked up as exception accounts meaning that only certain MTs have access and by calling and complaining about lack of work only gets your name added to the list of troublemakers.

I mean calling other CCMs in other regions. There has to be a list of these people somewhere. Otherwise, tell your CCM to transfer you to other region who is hiring and if they don't, I would be calling the labor board and raising all kinds of noise.

Those are the exact same excuses I was given. I didn't buy them then either. If our accounts have (1) gone to India, (2) gone to an in-house system, or (3) been invaded by newbies, I'd rather just know rather than agonizing every time I'm scheduled to log on and getting knots in my stomach. My formerly very responsive CCM is no longer answering her phone.

Sometimes MQ takes whole accounts, but usually what they start out doing is taking certain work types from those clients who allow it. (Then they pester those clients whose contracts are up to resign with the provision of allowing offshoring) Then they wait a few weeks (update on Sundays?) and take a few more work types. The MTs don't even realize the work is slipping away, you may just not get consults any more on a certain account or all you are left with is stats on your account. All of a sudden one day you are rolling out of your accounts and working more in the BOB or eventually just running into NJA more often along with all the MTs on your account. Then you get the song and dance about work is slow because of holiday weekend or docs on vacation when the whole while the work has been slipping away. Sound familiar?

When still w/ Spheris, my CCM once made the comment that my primary was one of the hardest they had. Since the Q buyout, I only get the worst of the worst auths, if I get any at all. It didn't seem to be so much by work type for me. It seemed that the easy auths I could make decent time on started disappearing. I mailed my CCM to see what was going on and didn't even get a response (BS or not).

hope you are applying for unemployment. MQ is EVIL for not just laying MTs off (when the off-shore more work, which is another form of evil)...but the least they could do is have mercy and do lays offs so MTs can get UI while finding another job. and my supervisor's BOB has been pretty much empty for really the last month or more. I have had maybe 10 jobs of my primary, secondary and so on accounts that Im familiar with for at least 2 weeks. When I do get jobs from these accounts a lot of them have been hard to hear (background noise and such), some of the ASR reports have been horrible with a lot of added words and whole sentences left out.
