Did everyone take "my work" and use it for their make up time????

God forbid scheduling should make any kind of sense.

If you dont like it, wait 4 months (which is how long I have been out) and then complain to deaf ears.

I will work anytime I see a report there. I have gone without a check long enough.

On my shift, Im gonna try and get it made up whenever it is convenient for me...no one is entitled to anything..this is a production job and this crap happens..

You're entitle to the work if it's on YOUR scheduled shift, not someone elses. There seems to be no honor among thieves in this company. You aren't the only one trying to earn a living. We all are.

There is no work on my shift. I should just not have any work to so call "honor you?" I didnt take my work away. They did this to me. I need a check worse than you do right now. I havent had work since November! YOUR NOT THE ONLY ONE TRYING TO EARN A LIVING. I was told take the work whereever you can find it, and that is what I am doing. If you have such a problem, complain to anyone that will listen. Heres a tip though, I couldnt find anyone to listen. I now am forced into a 24/7 shift and only the strong survive. You bail, I am not.

for the executive team at MM. If the MTs did not do the work, who do you think is going to do it? The work would sit there if it weren't for our skills as MTs. Remember not long ago when the system was down for an entire day and all that backlog? They were begging us to work and we did.

We are only allowed to make up time on weekends and evenings. - Take it up with the TSM. nm

I quit Nuance on Saturday and today have received 2 offers for employment elsewhere. One is in the transcription field and the second is something completely different. Think I will go with the new field. I need a change. There are plenty of minimum wage or a little better paying jobs out there in transcription though if one wants to stay with that type work. You don't have to stick with Nuance for fear of not finding other work. ...

Always work Saturday morning, rarely have NJA but beginning to think it's going to be a regular thing now. This is my 3rd NJA this week. I feel sorry for those that get NJA every day. I can feel it creeping up on me slowly. I hope those of you who have NJA have applied for unemployment. When I tried to sign back on at 9 p.m. PST (midnight EST), I could not get in, and the DEP light was red. I thought I saw a message on DEP that it was down for maintenance, but I just found the schedule they sent us sometime back, and next weekend is what is scheduled. Was the system down? -- Or were they in fact doing maintenance? ...

I was wondering if it's really worth it to work the 3rd shift? Does the additional CPL really make that much of a difference. Does the workload stay steadier during that time? I've been offered a 3rd shift part-time job, but just don't know if it's worth revamping my entire day to work this late. I figure they are specific hours of the day - like day, swing, graveyard shifts - but what are the hours, generally? I have only worked as an IC with TAT. Totally unhappy with current company, but do love my shift. Most jobs advertised are for 2nd and 3rd shift. Anyone know of companies that would hire for very early morning or possible split shifts? Too old at this time to think about trying night shift, but could do some evenings. Don't mind weekends at all. Any info helpful. TIA ...

I was just curious if there is any correalation between working 2nd shift and being unable to get to sleep at night? I have been having trouble sleeping lately and wondering if it could be due to the fact that I have been staying on later typing?
