Does anyone else have a rude, condescending QC? - sm

I always DREAD getting any email from her. She's always so rude, condescending, and unprofessional. I sooo miss my old QC who was simply wonderful. This one is on some sort of power trip.

Sounds like the one I had once a upon a time and she is still there! The one I had wasn't even an MT at one time, just some IT person that got laid off and they gave her the CCM (that is what they were then) position. She fit the acronym perfectly, "company created monster."

Yes, I do. I am in the North. I am getting ready to retire and I will let my CCM know that she is the main reason I no longer want to work for them and I hope I get an exit interview. I would like to slap her. She really has a problem. E-mail if you want to see if this is the same one. I thought I was the only one she did that to.

I love, love, love her! Super helpful, always happy, quick to answer questions or emails, sends out tips, one of the reasons I stay here.

train them to be polite & the correct way to speak to employees? I used to be a supervisor, and we were told never to sound rude or condescending, to try to always sound professional and helpful instead. We also had to CC our supervisor on every communication so she could assure we were being respectful. I guess that's not important here.

Your QC should be cc'ing your TSM on all her correspondence to you. Just because she is a Quality Coach does not mean that she can talk down to you. You should email your TSM (used to be CCM). I would also cc your Region Director on the email. That is just uncalled for and very inappropriate. Quality Coaches are to mentor, not belittle.

I have encountered my first rude QA at this company (Transcend). My audit scores last week were 100%. The week before that 99% and 100%. They have never been below 98% but are usually around 99%. apparently the first time she's ever had any power & she doesn't know how to professionally handle it. I've been a supervisor before. This is not how you treat employees. Why has everyone gotten so rude. You apply for jobs and you can sense the "Tude" through the E-mails - if they are kind enough to send you one! 35+ years experience and they act like you are just off the boat to Transcription Land. I have been seeing my PA every three months right after my cardiologist for congestive heart failure. He prescribes my meds and communicates with my cardiologist during my checkup. I've had it with our rude TSM so I just sent an e-mail to HR about them. Ten weeks ago I put in a request for PTO to attend a family wedding this weekend and sent them an e-mail.
