Always thought he and Judy (was that her name?) should get married. I used to work for a company in Toluca Lake, CA where the long dark haired girl who played one of the daughters owned a clothing store. I think her real name was Angela Cartwright... memory is failing me. No time to Google.

Yes, her name is Angela Cartwright. She also was Brigitta in the Sound of Music, which turned 50 last week. Talk about feeling your age creep up on you and wondering where time went! I remember when the movie was released and had it's first run in 1965, and when I saw it on it's original run. Granted, I wasn't quite in double digits yet, close to them, but still, how can 1/2 century fly by so quickly?!

So I check MQ Central as usual before starting my shift this morning. Found 4 messages stating critical backlog with weekend incentive. I sign on. No jobs. I'm tier 3. Don't know what's going on, but I have had an abundance of my primary yesterday and today. Usually only very few reports and then being jumped around to different accounts during the day, with frequent periods of NJA. Now all the sudden we get an E-mail because we have a "critical backlog." Is India on strike or something? On 10/8/13 I downloaded Antivirus Security Pro per instructions and they immediately charged my credit card $99.99. It was started that I was automatically granted a 12-month access in which to re-download at any time. Sorry for the dumb question but I can't get any answers from my head honchos...where do you go to review your reports that have been audited? I've checked the manual and I see DocQManage. That's not even on my computer (DocQScribe is). I'm in Fluency. I did a complete scan by Norton 360 last night and it listed a high risk threat: editscript mt.msi "compressed threats." Anyone know anything about this? I received a "critical error" alert that I used the word granulation instead of granular in a report that was by a heavy ESL. Seriously? That's a critical error? As a FYI I relistened and it still sounds like granulation so I've sent it to the manager for review. Either way ....it would not compromise patient care! ...

We've been having late work for 4 days out of every week for awhile now with our TSM calling for OT constantly. The funny thing is, all the accounts that I'm familiar with that are late are ones that do not send overseas (as an MME, I know because I QA the ILPs). Do you think that these hospitals refuse to send overseas and that MModal is going to say that the work was late because of lack of qualified US MTs, and that they should consider sending offshore? ...

After reading the emails below, I had to post. After starting with Nuance, getting great QA reviews, great post audit reviews, and thinking I was doing well - I have gotten THREE major alert emails in 2 days. I have since discovered these were reviewed by Offshore QA. Why? Do we not have enough reviewers onshore? I think I am going to do what a poster below suggested and block them. I don't see that having the reviews come through helps me in any way. I have also noticed that some of these jobs have been QCd twice for some reason - and it is not a post audit. So frustrating to get dinged on things that I just can't prove I did or didn't do....I hate that part of this company. ...

I only have an hour window between my 2nd shift job and the 3rd shift job, and I try to sneak in a nap, but after a couple of hours I find myself yawning and losing focus. Coffee doesn't seem to help nor do any of the energy drinks. So far, 5 minutes of jumping jacks or something every hour has helped the most, but I still feel I am not at my best (and my production shows it).
