I was wondering what others think about this. When QA sends feedback at my company, the feedback is also sent to all regional manager and all the team leaders in that region. I think this creates unnecessary embarassment and humiliation for the MT getting the feedback and I feel this practice is unfair, especially when they are not critical errors.
Feedback is supposed to be helpful and encourage the MT to improve and step up their game but when it is done this way, I think it greatly reduces the confidence of that MT. Also, you never see QA sharing the team leaders' errors with the entire team. Since the management team is trying to appear as an 'open book' and so relatable, why aren't the MTs on the team seeing their messed-up reports too? Why is it necessary to share the feedback with the regional manager and all team leads in the region? What is gained by doing this? No one is perfect. Everyone has days when they're off their game, management included, and those days when the reports come out a little rough don't need to be shared with all . In my opinion, feedback exchange should be one-on-one between QA and the MT and if it needs to be shared at all, it should only be shared with the regional manager or the assigned team leader of that MT, not the entire management team. I think they should really examine how they do things and how it impacts MTs, who are the heart and soul of all these MTSOs. What do you guys think?
