Does anyone know of any free dictation players? I have purchased Express Scribe twice, but unfortunately yesterday a sudden very close flash of lightning fried both of my computers and I do not have a record of the serial numbers. I had to buy a new computer today and I just don't have the money to buy Express Scribe again right now; credit card is maxed, checking account is empty. I had a long, long report that was filled up mostly with another doctor's dictation, who was sitting nearby going a mile a minute dictating on his patient while my dictating doctor sat quietly thinking. Hi I posted this once but not sure if it went through. I use Olympus Transcriptoin Kit and can usually transcribe any type of voice file by dragging it into the system. One of my doctors accidentally encrypted his dictation and now my transcription module asks me for a password to decrypt it. Lately after I have done a few reports, EditScript starts to get slow. I hit a key and there is a delay before it does anything. Not much of a delay, but still delayed enough to slow me down. Eventually, it gets soo slow that uploading the current report and downloading the next one becomes next to impossible and I have to close it out and reboot the program.
