I have searched the archives, no real recent input on this company. would be interested in hearing recent experience with this company, concerning work flow and whatever else

Same as the other posters. Never enough work, EVER! Very nice people running the company, but they over hire big time. I'm full time and make about $200 a month with them. Also, I believe their radiology is going to VR.

And yet they are constantly hiring - old and tired

but then there are only a handful that don't follow that MO...I guess it comes down to how much can you make off what little work they can give you.

Bad place. No work. I know two people who quit jobs to work for them and within about a month or two, no work!! That should be illegal!!!

Don't buy all the naysayers say. There is another side to the story. I have worked for LM for a good long time, and have been able to support my family (I am the head of household) doing so. The owners are honest, decent people, the QA person is the best I have ever known, and all in all it is a great placed to work. Sure, we run out once in a while, but I used to work at MQ, and they ran out all the time, too. Give it a try before giving up.

I have asked several times for more work! The last time, I got some! BUT after the first few days of having work, I have none AGAIN! The last 3 mornings I have logged on there is "no more available jobs"!! Check the archives, everyone says there is never enough work, you only get a few who say they do!

The owner hired me and for the first two days there waa not even one job available for me to train on. I have a friend who has been there for years and always has enough work. They definitely have their favorites and the ability to assign work. When I did have work after I train, they cut you off after so many lines. The owner "loves to shire people" but that does mean there is enough work. Communication is poor but they are nice people. Don't quit your "day job" to work for them. Very disappointing experience.

"Nice people" won't pay the rent. Neither will lack of communication.

LANDMARK - GLADTOBEGONE

Landmark has extremely nice QA and supervisors, however 90% of their accounts are overflow from other MTSOs. I worked for one of these MTSOs at the same time as Landmark and they had two of the accounts that I typrd for at Landmark as well. So basically those that are getting work are getting the 10% of full accounts. I was hired to work full time for Landmark and NEVER, not one day had enough lines to even be considered full time. I worked there for five months and was lucky to get 200 lines a day.

My biggest problem by far was the fact that the accounts I had were re-recorded with horrible (and I do mean HORRIBLE) sound quality. But you are right--the people are very nice.

Was hired by this company for a large hospital new account. Owner said she was excited about hiring 40 MTs. There has never been more than a few jobs per day. It is definitely overflor and there is not a lot of that. Not enough work for even part time. Very vague about any further work. Am very disappointed. Owner does not have a grip on reality. ...

I find it interesting that this posted at all, as when I was there starting part-time to consider full-time, supposedly my acct was "terminated" without notice. Now they suddenly have work? I don't know....kind of puts the gut on alert IMO. Just my 2 cents. ...

I think I may have made a HUGE error. After not reading and researching enough on site here I sent Landmark Transcription my resume. It wasn't until it was sent I discovered some of the messages from last year saying they are always out of work !! Just what I or any of us would need - sign on with a company who has no work. I left Soft Script because of that. Good grief, I wish I had seen all the feedback earlier. Live and learn I guess. ...

Anyone else get an e-mail this morning that as of April 1, they have lost a big acct. and we will have no work ? Was basically told we could be put on a waiting list for other upcoming accounts, other platform. Landmark has been great for the most part until this recent notification of changes in our pay periods back to bimonthly. Is anyone else just a little upset that we only get one week's pay for the first check of Dec. instead of usual 2? We still only get the same check end of month for 1-15th. Some of us have bills & will only get half the check. I was told that no one else was too bothered by this. Guess I'm the only one who actually works for my payc ...

Hi, all- I am a transcriptionist (employee) at our local hospital and we were all recently told that Landmark was taking over our transcription department. We were given severance packages and were told that we would be offered positions with Landmark to continue doing the hospital transcription.
