Also see the posts below. Looking for the system they work on. Have experience in Allscripts EMR. After the training process, how is pay calculated? I also read posts from as early as 2 months ago about the work being slow. How is the work now? TIA

I would highly recommend them. I have been on this project since the beginning (well, not conception, but before the lull, through the lull and now consistently working). Yes, there was a lull because they were improving the system. This is a Scriberight system that they have created and it is a super easy platform now. We are still in the early phases of it where they are trying to determine how many jobs can be done an hour so we are all hourly still. They are serious when they say you have to have attention to detail and pay attention to what you do, it's not just mindless work.

I can't say enough about everyone that I have dealt with there from the CEO to the team leader to the tech guru, they have all been great or I wouldn't have stayed through the lulls.

Like my title says, I highly recommend them and am glad I stuck it out with them. email me if you have any other questions.

I have been with them since the beginning of the project and stayed with them through the slow times and I'm glad I did. Their platform is super easy and is very user friendly. This is a great way to get out of MTing and transition to working with EMR. The entire staff at ScribeRight is very professional. They are like a well-oiled machine and get things done and help you out along the way. Go for it! (and the money is good there too)

I have just read the advertisement and I have a question. I see that this position is for editing old transcription to be compatible with and place into the new EMR system. The question is, what happens to these "employees" after the project is completed? This editing will not last forever, I assume, as with a transcription position. Anyone know the answer to this??

It's migrating pertinent health data from one section to another. It has nothing to do with transcription. Once this project is over, I believe they will have other projects lined up as they are very good at what they do and will have companies wanting them to do their EMR migration. But, yes, eventually migrating data will be over and this is when it would be good to move to working with EMR and doing work in that field.

I applied there (ten years' experience, great resume), and they offered to let me test right away but said their pay never goes over 7.5 cpl no matter what. So I kept looking. Too bad, because I had heard good things about them, including that they pay well. My last job paid 12, so I wasn't thrilled.

I tested and invited to interview for this company but can't find any info. They are paying hourly for a short-term project. Does anyone have any recent experience with this company? I have seen a few posts from fellow DMTs on this board (and wish we had the chance to talk while working to ask questions of each other!) and wanted to ask a question of you here on the board. I have had to send a couple jobs to QA to ask about a med or allergy for which I haven't found a match. I've noticed the comments are less than complimentary. For those of you working as DMTs, are you starting to worry about the scheduled conference call? All of them, it seems have worked hard to be sure things would go well, and we would have work, but this lull is about to do me in. I want to hope for the best, but I am wondering if they are going to let some of us go since they overhired, or let us know the work will either not be coming as scheduled or not coming at all.
