Mass hire and then run out of work and by that, I mean completely out, not just slow work. What a joke!!!

I was recently hired by ScribeRight and they have tons of work on my team accounts.

I was really hoping to have a full paycheck this next pay period, but once again my paycheck will be a few hundred bucks. They did say no more lulls, but we've been on a lull for a week now. Can't live like this anymore.

If they are planning on hire a lot more DMTs, I'm sure we will continue to have lulls like this. Besides, this is a temporary job, no guarantees for more work. I was really looking forward to working there but not working a few days a month. Just seems like this project has been very poorly run and planned out. What is everyone else going to do?

I am trying to decide too. The money is really good but multiplied by 0 it's still ZERO. No full check this time. Right now it's only a 2-day check. There were a lot of promises of no lulls after the last "lull" and here we are, going on a week of nothing and NO word from any of the higher ups. Guess it doesn't matter to them since THEY are getting a check.

I work for ScribeRight too, not on the DMT side, but work has been slow with the accounts I am on, too. I started last week. Jobs have been coming in a few at a time, not enough to get more than 300 lines a day, if that. I will say from the work I have done and received feedback on thus far, they seem to be extremely picky on QA. They have a tendency to write several paragraphs through an edited report for formatting and style discrepancies. This is even for a report without blanks. The problem is that one day they will give you a report back with formatting changes and when you go to correct and implement the changes they want, they change their mind. In my opinion, I found myself spending more time worrying about formatting and style and could not make any money off of what work I was able to type.

are they for real? how many times have we heard "just bear with us"? Well guess what, just "bearing with you" isn't paying the bills. When you only get to work 2 days out of a pay period there's no way to feed a family or pay bills. Guess it's time to jump ship!

I'd avoid Softscript like the plague. They are about the worst company I've ever had the misfortune of working for. They turn over staff constantly, the backstabbing and nasty emails from "management" never ceases, and finally, they set you up for failure. Always out of work, PTO is terrible. I tried to get my hours switched just by a half hour earlier this week. I normally work 6 am to 11 am central time and i tried to get her to change it to 5:30 am to 10:30 am. Avoid Saince. They are intrusive, constantly calling and they don't pay.
