The problem I'm having is that in Bayscribe under the Reports Summary tab (not the Review tab), I no longer have the Review link next to the patient names. Previously, I was able to go to Reports Summary, to a transcribed report, and click on the word Review next to patient name - and that report then opened as a Bayscribe report where I could see what I typed but could click on the audio link to relisten.
What happens now is that there is no review link next to the patient name. The only thing clickable is the patient name. When I click on the patient name, now an Internet Explorer window pops up and asks "What do you want to do with view.rft?" The options are open/save/save as. If I click on open, the job opens in a Word file, just the text.
I have un/reinstalled Transcription Productivity tools which changed nothing.
I have also done this: Start/Internet Explorer/Tools/Internet Options/Program Tabs.
Under Programs tab, Internet Programs, and then Set Internet Programs, I went to Associate a File Type or protocol with a program. I scrolled down and found .rtf and then associated it with Internet Explorer instead of Microsoft Word or Notepad. This solved nothing.
The company has two "sides" of Bayscribe where there is regular Bayscribe for all accounts - and then a different log-in to Bayscribe for a separate account (the T). It may be that the Review function on regular side of Bayscribe works fine - I no longer have accounts on that side to troubleshoot and see (all my other accts went to the other company in the split).
If anyone works on The T, would you be able to help me please? In Bayscribe, go to My Account, Reports Summary, and then go to an old report. Look at the patient name - is the word REVIEW next to it? If so, when you click on the word REVIEW, will it open the report, let you see the report in Bayscribe format, and have the audio link (up at the top left) where you can relisten to the job if you wish?
Note that I'm not referring to jobs that went through QA and are under the actual review tab. That function works fine for me.
I am trying to determine if it is just on the T side of Bayscribe that this is happening. Thanks!
