and when I tracked the company down and sent in a resume/cover letter, I was told by HR by e-mail that they are not looking for an MT right now, they are fully staffed. Wazzup with that????????

Thank you so much for the tip; you are very kind, I have been sending out hundreds of applications, tests, resumes, etc., in my 30 years in the industry, never such problems obtaining a good job. This is crazy. But again, thank you for making my job hunt a bit easier, sorry I was not smart enough to find it myself ;)

I typed the note and sent it back via email Thursday. Haven't heard a word since. Anyone else submit the report and heard back?

I didn't transcribe the file I received when I heard it was a dictated report from just 5 days prior with all the identifying info left in the report. What do you want to bet every person got a different report to transcribe. I think an MT was taking advantage of "free labor" to get her backlog caught up.

Well, I guess we don't have to worry about layoffs again with the loss of this last big account. We will thin the herds out for them. Such a cleaver move on their part. An email was sent to QC stating that even though we are pretty much just doing a second pass editing job now and on production only, it was stated they still expect us to send feedback to MLS. So instead of using Fiesa for its intended purpose we are suppose to go back to sending feedback emails. to quit. I gave my notice last week. CCM called and talked me into staying. I said I would try it out a couple of more weeks. The next day I got 2 ASR reports, one a 9 minute report with over 200 corrections and a 4 minute report with 56 corrections. After 7 years, I began to get the failed audits. Interestingly, the past year, I was the second HIGHEST in QA AFTER A RANDOM QA AUDIT FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR! Go figure. I quit a few weeks ago. Got a letter from staffing and resource manager stating I would be contacted prior to training. I am DYING to know if I got my old accounts. Recruiter said she could put it on my form as a request, but who knows. My start date is not for another week so perhaps I should wait for CCM to call, but....
