How do you contact Nuance - seeking work

I tested with Nuance before the holidays and I know I did well on the test but have not heard from them since then. Is there a way to contact a recruiter for them and find out my status? I am desperate for work!

They have ad this morning for 30 people. Great company. I work for both Nuance full time and TTS part time and am considering switching the two as TTS is so much better. They leave you alone. Their QA is so so much better. I have no problem in keeping well over their minimum. They have ad today on the job seeker's board

Their ad only shows FT positions but evidently they do have PT slots. Worth checking into. Can you tell anything about insurance and if any benefits for PT work?

At the time I don't need benefits so never really asked. But yes they have full benefits from what I read and paychecks are reliable. They send you an email right after your payweeks are over with how much your check is going to be so you can plan ahead by almost 2 weeks to know what your check is going to be. You can leave blanks and are not penalized UNLIKE NUANCE. They don't promise you a bonus that you can never get with their unreasonable QA. I love them. I believe they need both PT and full time. I pretty much just told them when I could work due to my other job and they had no problem with it. Training very straightforward.

Their LPH is 250 a line VR. Being IC they take out no taxes during the year and the account that I am on has oodles of work and they are always asking for help so technically I can put in as many hours I want as long as I make my minimum. Combined with my Nuance I am great and doing fine. Of course I am working more to accomplish this but I had no choice. I am supporting myself and could not make enough with either by themselves. BUT compared to Nuance, they are so much easier and nicer to work for. No bullying to work or threatening just friendly emails asking for help. Also no worries on the QA crap. My percentage has been over 99% since I started and according to Nuance at the present moment I can't seem to even get to 98%, just a big relief in that area and makes it even nicer.

I am glad. I know how I feel with Nuance and this company hired me within 24 hours of sending in my paperwork, only had to take the written test and was on the phone the next morning with a recruiter who made me an offer and you will get loads of stuff via email to sign and send back but hey they all have that. I had about a 30 minute with a tech person so they could get my computer set up with all their stuff and then a 6 hour training on the phone one on one going over the specs of the account that I was assigned to. I was under orientation for 1 week and then released since I met their LPH and their accuracy. Just nice to work for somebody who actually seems to understand. I don't mind working extra for them whereas Nuance can beg and plead and I just am not going to give them an extra minute of my time as they expect me to do so much on my off time and not get paid. Forget it. Hope it all works out

last summer when I applied to them. This was to be by an independent company which specializes in that sort of thing. I was extremely uncomfortable with this, so I went PT with another company instead.

I would like to re-apply as a second, PT job. Was this your experience also?

Same as what Nuance had to do and according to the email that I got and the person that I spoke with they are on the payroll of TTS. They just go in and check to make sure I had the right specs. I sit right there and I can see exactly where they go and what they check so nothing that I felt was inappropriate was accessed or looked at. They do go in to your email and add your signature line that they want you to have. But they don't nose around

company a few years back, often the tech support person would e-mail you a link for a website where you could download their software yourself.

I had a company out of Houston actually mess up a new laptop big time. I was O.K. with her uploading the software, etc. but when she started downloading stuff from the internet, like anti-virus software SHE preferred, I really got teed off.

When I saw her going into my registry & making changes there, I immediately phoned her & directed her to stop. Well, after around an hour and a half of screwing around, she informed me that I had too many "bad sectors" and she couldn't do anything else.

I am just fed up with trying to be perfect and worrying about audits, and feeling stupid. Hopefully I won't feel like punching a wall every time I sit down to work. MM just did me in.

I work there. Here's my experience. They will start you on one account on which you will get one-on-one training. As far as the account specs, you really need to pay close attention to these, study them, and make cheat notes for yourself because they are very particular that you follow them. You will get audited frequently at first but don't sweat the small stuff; because if you have meticulously followed the specs and made sure all the demographics are filled in correctly, etc., you'll do okay. After you have been on the account for a while your speed will pick up and your quality scores should be higher. For instance, my editing average today was 268 lph and my straight typing average was 203 lph. My editing was a little low today because of more editing needed than usual. I'm usually closer to 300 lph. I can only edit 1-1/2 times faster than I can straight type, but that's just me. Mileage will vary. My quality scores usually run 99+%. They require 98%. The best part is that they get to know you as a person. You get minimal emails with work availability updates and a few other things. It's by no means a walk in the park (you still have to work hard), but it is way more pleasant than working for the big guys. Good luck!

After 7 years, I began to get the failed audits. Interestingly, the past year, I was the second HIGHEST in QA AFTER A RANDOM QA AUDIT FOR THE ENTIRE YEAR! Go figure. I quit a few weeks ago. Got a letter from staffing and resource manager stating I would be contacted prior to training. I am DYING to know if I got my old accounts. Had to change password a couple of days ago and practically forgot new password. Now docqmanage has been disabled and have to contact system administrator. How the heck do I do that? Cannot remeber because I never have issues. We used to just call. Then it was contact by email to support and now?? Gee, never can get a hold of a live person anymore. I have applied to Nuance, and already went thru the online process. Also had friends at N submit my resume. I got a voice mail from a "Colleen" at Nuance today, saying she has my resume, but I have to complete some "Assessment", which she has emailed to me, as far as links to follow. Well, no email from anyone, and when I called back the phone # on caller ID, it is Transcend, and there is no option to speak with anyone. Is this a red flag? LOL Don't answer that. ...
