Mediscribes hiring again, does anyone know - cat1

Are they just always busy, seems like they always need help.

They are busy hounding you with instant messages if you work there. sm - It is in India, not Louisville

The techs in India assign you a few jobs at a time so you constantly have to have them assign you work. I have had them call me at home at 5 a.m. and such to tell me they needed help. They used to pay decent, 9 cpl plus production incentives, but you earn every penny, IMO. It really aggravates me that they insist on advertising that they are in Louisville. One of the owners has a home in Louisville. The company is in India. I just hate deceit.

They operate out of India as other poster said and the instant messaging is ridiculous. They send a bunch of files and then constantly stop you to do stats (close to TAT files) or stop you to ask are you done? ready for more? They ride you and you cannot understand these men should you speak on the phone. And it's same old story - the good dictators go to their side of the ocean, we get the impossible dictators.

The worse experience of my life and they are always hiring because people are always leaving.

This company over hires so they will staff a 10-person - account with 20 people. sm

This might be why they are always hiring. It drives a lot of people away who need reliable work and every account is over staffed. Its very difficult to get a full-time check from this place without sitting in front of your computer for 18 hours a day, constantly refreshing to see if there is a job to do.

Just quit there. Seriously lacks organization. Their India "allocation" team throws bits and pieces at you, very low volume, but then hammers your IM to death. Example, a 12 minute report is assigned, I would just get started on it and within less than 10 minutes they want to know where it is. WTF?! If the 2 US managers are out of the office and the India team is in charge, it's a nightmare. Then, even if the US managers are there, it's slim pickins as far as volume goes and then they ...

WTF is going on? I am no longer an MT, but I still care about a lot of people who are still TRYING to work at the Q. I want to work a part time job to supplement my other part time job at Nuance because sometimes there is no work. I see an opening at TTS but when reviewing posts about TTS it sounds like a bad place to work with incompetent recruiters and managers. It seems 95% of the posts are bad regarding TTS.
