I read where someone wrote this was temporary gig. What is meant by that. I was recently hired and they did not tell me that. They did tell me about being Indian based and all the rest about a home in KY. I really do not know if they have Indian MTs but I would assume so, as most of the staff I have been in contact with are Indian and have very limited English. Are you saying that they train Americans to do their work and then send them packing and send the work to India? I am really concerned about this.

Yes. That is exactly what they do. I can't believe they are allowed to - advertise here.

Yes, it's true. I was the one that wrote the post.

It's encouraging that they were honest with you about the ownership, though.

Overall, the pay was good, management was mostly encouraging, tech support was quickly responsive - in fact, I would work for them again if they had been honest about the switch to all-Indian labor later, because I really don't care, if it's Indian-owned, so far as they paid me on time, a decent wage (ya know, relatively) that I could spend to stimulate our own economy.

But the lack of heads up about it screwed me, to speak frankly. Because the next employment I received is transitioning to EHR as we speak, which is why I came here, looking again.

So my resume looks awesome, the past 2 years especially, let me tell you :/

Actually even though I am scared from all of this, I do have to say that they pay good, on time, and they have plenty of work even on my off days which they beg to work. I don't know how long that will last. I do not know what to think about this company.

I've had a horrid day. My company merged (meaning was bought out) this week and my head is spinning about finding another job. Your comment helped to brighten my mood ;)

As we all know, the testing process, etc., in applying for a job just to find out they pay so poorly you couldn't afford to take the job is extremely frustrating. Just quit there. Seriously lacks organization. Their India "allocation" team throws bits and pieces at you, very low volume, but then hammers your IM to death. Example, a 12 minute report is assigned, I would just get started on it and within less than 10 minutes they want to know where it is. WTF?! If the 2 US managers are out of the office and the India team is in charge, it's a nightmare. Then, even if the US managers are there, it's slim pickins as far as volume goes and then they ...
