They have an address here - whether this is an office or owner's personal property not sure. The owner was Indian and they had a couple of American gals handling the hiring, traning, etc. on the States side.

The accounts totally handled from India and that's who you are working with/for.

They spooned out the work little at a time - it was a huge account and that was the only way TAT could be kept up, I suppose. And they gave us all the accents, the easy dictators went to them, of course. The hospital account I worked had so many accents, mostly Indian dictators you'd think it was offshore as well. Reports would get close to TAT and become stats. Always on the verge of being out of TAT, you typed and IM'd pretty much simultaneously. Struggling with the dictator and getting ding, ding, ding - 'can you do this stat? Can you take more? Are you done yet?' It was horrid.

American they are not. They have that address here and a couple of gals they call management, just enough to claim American company, but the bulk of their operations is handled through India and I got the feeling they have the same attitude towards us as we have them.

Their base is India - we are the sideline, and they are contracting our hospitals, or bought out one of our MTSO's and it's accounts.

I applied for a QA job that was posted - sm

and it took a week for the recruiter to get back to me, so I called her and then 3 weeks later she emailed me that all the QA jobs were filled but she had MT jobs and I told her no but keep my resume on file. The next day I saw the ad on here for QA jobs again. I think they post and troll.

I read where someone wrote this was temporary gig. What is meant by that. I was recently hired and they did not tell me that. They did tell me about being Indian based and all the rest about a home in KY. I really do not know if they have Indian MTs but I would assume so, as most of the staff I have been in contact with are Indian and have very limited English. Just quit there. Seriously lacks organization. Their India "allocation" team throws bits and pieces at you, very low volume, but then hammers your IM to death. Example, a 12 minute report is assigned, I would just get started on it and within less than 10 minutes they want to know where it is. WTF?!
