Don't waste your time. You are just working for Indians. Most of the staff is in India and the Americans are just being hired to do the difficult docs until the Indians learn how and then get the easy stuff and the easy stuff goes to India. Work gets assigned a few jobs at a time but you have to IM the Indian allocation and wait for them to respond and give out 1-3 jobs at a time and sometimes wait as long as 20 minutes to get the jobs. No money to be made. Platform is bulky and slow and not well done. Have to go through many hoops just to set up the jobs. Another waste of time. The work that does not go to India is the worst dictators of all. Mgt knows the American MTs are just paving the way for the acct to go to India and then there is little or no work for American MTs. Too many steps to set up the header and other things to make any money. Then they don't put you on another account, they just terminate your contract for lack of work. Just my bad experience for a year.

The Indian allocation team all have short-man and mommie spoils me syndromes. The least little thing and they will not send you work.

The company is Indian first. I don't know how J, K and J sleep at night since they are a part of it.

Owner has a house in Louisville. Guess this is how he "fronts" the company as an American company, but it is an Indian operation with a few team leaders and HR in America who work from home.

The same thing is happening at Alpha. They sold out to IMedx, and in my discussions with VA Hospitals, they are well aware that Alpha is providing a front in order to get these government hospitals, but there is a loophole that makes it legal. Gotta love our government. Taxpayers are paying operational expenses for VA Hospitals, and government is providing income for foreign companies. In the meantime, Alpha has slashed income for American workers and terminated many.

they hound you with IMs all day long -- can you help out with a stat, are you done yet, are you still not done yet (no, not in the last 2 minutes since you asked me), on and on. First pick is given to the Indian MTs. You may run out of work, but they will always have plenty. Money is money, but I despise that they try to hide behind the owner's Louisville home address and try to present themselves as an American company. The owner is Indian and the allocation and IT people are in India. I was paid 9 cpl with bonuses for production over 18,000 (I think), and it was always on time, but when that's said, it is all said. I always felt that I had sold out and was sleeping with the enemy.

Anyone who currently works at Medscribes: Concerning Medscribes-Louisville, KY recent job post hours. What are they meaning with the Mon-Fri, 1/2 shift on weekend. I read where someone wrote this was temporary gig. What is meant by that. I was recently hired and they did not tell me that. They did tell me about being Indian based and all the rest about a home in KY. I really do not know if they have Indian MTs but I would assume so, as most of the staff I have been in contact with are Indian and have very limited English. As we all know, the testing process, etc., in applying for a job just to find out they pay so poorly you couldn't afford to take the job is extremely frustrating. Just quit there. Seriously lacks organization. Their India "allocation" team throws bits and pieces at you, very low volume, but then hammers your IM to death. Example, a 12 minute report is assigned, I would just get started on it and within less than 10 minutes they want to know where it is. WTF?!
