MedQuist screws Keystrokes - Insider

Anyone type for Keystrokes and hear of MQ dropping them after MQ lost out to Keystrokes for a large hospital system in TEXAS?

I heard MQ lost the RPF to Keystrokes, then terminated Keystrokes contract for technology so they could not fulfill the contract obligations?

Has this affected any Keystrokes MTs?

What large hospital system in Texas did they lose? What is RPF that Medquist lost to Keystrokes?

Keystrokes has their own platform, so MQ terminating their DEP contract is not a big deal. sm - KeystrokesMT

I heard the same thing because I work for the hospital system and for Keystrokes, although neither knows. I heard that MQ threatened the system to pull the technology if they went with anyone but them, although KS had been awarded the contract. No final decision has been made as to if it will be KS or MQ, is what we are being told, because the system has invested a lot of money in the technology.

Anyways, it does not matter to KS because they have their own platform now and will be moving all accounts to that over the next year. It is Chartnet and it is much better than DEP.

This is not the first RFP that KS won over MQ, but it looks like this one pushed MQ over the edge.

I am glad I work for KS and glad that I left MQ for them 3 years ago. I think that KS will continue to grow and MQ will continue to self destruct!

Cracks me up that most of the large MTSOs think - of MQ as a "role model". (Mine does). sm

And it's already starting to turn around and bite 'em. Quality continuing to drop, MTs getting ticked off and leaving, client not happy with report accuracy. All for the love of their precious little TAT. I love it.
