Can someone please give me an update on JLG Transcription. The only references I found were from 2009. I wondered if anyone has any updated information. I do not want to make a big change to something that may not be a good move. I support myself so I really have to know something concrete. Thank you.

There are actually current posts from a few days ago further down on the page, maybe the next page by now. I did not have a chance to reply then, but will now. If you need to support yourself, do not work for them. I was made many promises to leave my prior job and go to work for JLG. Promises were not kept, I was lied to, ignored and blown off. I was told I would be doing one thng, but was put on something else and changed around to this and that on a whim. People running the work flow part seem to not know which end is up or what anyone else is doing. It is next to impossible to get straight answers from people IF you can get them to get back to you. Communication stinks. There is absolutely no security there and they seemingly do not care about their people. I was NEVER treated so badly as when I worked there. You want something concrete? Keep looking - there is NO security there.

post is dead on. It has been awhile since I worked there, but it was an awful experience.

I received a call today from a recruiter at U-Scribe in response to a resume I must have sent in. I have done some Google research as well as searched through this forum. There's not much to be said about this company except that they are hiring. The gentleman I spoke with today told me they are very backlogged. I had applied to transcriptionamerica.com. I received an email back from a Nancy Lawson, National recruiter asking me to transcribe a sample file. I did this and when I tried to email it back to the address that she sent it from, I keep getting a failed delivery notice saying that the person's inbox is full. Does anyone know if this is a legitimate company? And if so, do you know any other way that I can get in touch with them to email this sample back to them? Thank you so much! ...

Has anyone had any experience with this company? I sent my resume for a job posting and was contacted right away. The fishy thing (to me anyway) was that they didn't even want me to TEST for the position! What is that about? EVERY MT position I have EVER been a candidate for has wanted me to test. Anyone heard of this company. We got a flyer from them today at work and they say they only charge 6.5 c per line, all US-based, no outsourcing. Looked up their website and they say they are one of the largest transcription companies in the US (never heard of them). Would love to know how they can pay their apparently "highly skilled" transcriptionists when they only charge 6.5 c per line. ...

Did some weekends ER reports to DW Medical Transcription, Atlanta, GA from June 20 to Dec 15. They still owe $1,400 for Oct to Dec work. Their accountant lied "Your check has been mailed. This company is unbelievable....sent resume to them to get a letter back from stating that I had to have a proof of passing a certified HIPAA course which ok I get that but then it goes on to state that they want proof of having $300,000 of general liability insurance and want $250 dollars from me as a deposit on their software.
