Hmmm. Very interesting....but stupid. - I used to work there

I can't really go into details because I'm very identifiable that way, but except for a few of the account managers and the fact that pay was on time, I don't have a lot good to say about. QA was woefully bad and dangerously wrong on many occasions and I spent a lot of hours 'chasing the work'. But I guess that doesn't make them a whole lot different than most companies lately.

Interesting. Sounds like they are just like the rest of them.

and I haven't really had any problems. I have found their QA people to NOT be nit picky at all. Work is not always steady. I think the DocQscribe platform is one of the best I have used. So for the most part, I haven't really had any issues. The biggest issue I have had is UNsteady work. Hope this helps :)
I'm sorry but you are, excuse me, "nuts" if you think docqscribe is a good platform s - MQMT

I have never used anything else and know there are probably worse ones out there, but this platform is so bad that sometimes I have to just wipe out the whole report and type it myself as it takes too freakin' long to correct every other word on every single line!
You are right the work is scarce at times but if you are willing and able to work evenings a little more the work seems to be there then as everyone else has "gone home by then."

It didn't sound to me like she was talking about ASR--we all agree using that is horrible. She is talking about DQS (DocQScribe). I think she is talking about the platform itself--logging in, using the DQS software, etc. It's quite user friendly.
Oh then I apologize! I thought she was talking about the ASR platform! sm - MQMT

I agree it is the easiest I have ever used and very user friendly. I again apologize as I am just so fed up with the ASR that I could scream! Thanks for pointing that out to me!

I should clarify--using DQS software in general. Nothing is good with ASR when they put docs on there that should not be. DQS is great for transcribing in. We can't blame DQS platform for ASR messes.

but not 100% because of the DQS ASR. I am nuts from all the ESLs out there. Sick to death of them. Also lack of work doesn't help much in trying to keep a positive attitude.
But anyway back to the ranch...I haven't had too many issues with the ASR. Of course there a few SR reports that come in horrible but I have been pleasantly surprized...which, by the way, SR and pleasant are scarcely found in the same sentence these days.
Can someone please give me an update on JLG Transcription. The only references I found were from 2009. I wondered if anyone has any updated information. I do not want to make a big change to something that may not be a good move. I support myself so I really have to know something concrete. Thank you. ...
After 10+ years of typing numerous specialties, I am interested in running my own transcription business. Do you have any suggestions on where/how to get work?
Thanks in advance! ...
Has anyone heard or dealt with SRVMT Medical Transcription Service. I was offered a job with them and am curious about the company. It sounds like it is a new company. ...
I received a call today from a recruiter at U-Scribe in response to a resume I must have sent in. I have done some Google research as well as searched through this forum. There's not much to be said about this company except that they are hiring. The gentleman I spoke with today told me they are very backlogged. He said a majority of their clients are from England, Ireland and Scotland. This man was English. He sent me two files to transcribe and return, ...
They just informed their employees that effective immediately they were changing the pay dates from the 3rd to the 17th. This when our payday is the first so now it is going to be late. Way to go Keystrokes! ...
Hey everyone! In any of your opinions, what is the best transcription company to work for? Any info on how they get paid, etc, would be appreciated. ...
I have an opportunity to test and be hired by them but it seems it is taking them so long to get back to me for the next step. Anyone else having this trouble. Anyone know anything good or bad about this company? ...
... I have ever worked for where TOP MANAGEMENT will get on and type. They don't take work away from the MTs but they put their money where their mouth is instead of whining, begging and threatening people to work while they file their nails. ...
A while ago I believe there was a discussion on the board about the VA's and someone posted a link to the page where it might list which companies are bidding on or were awarded which VA VISN packages. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA ...
I had applied to transcriptionamerica.com. I received an email back from a Nancy Lawson, National recruiter asking me to transcribe a sample file. I did this and when I tried to email it back to the address that she sent it from, I keep getting a failed delivery notice saying that the person's inbox is full. Does anyone know if this is a legitimate company? And if so, do you know any other way that I can get in touch with them to email this sample back to them? Thank you so much! ...
Does anybody have any info on this company? I believe they are located in Missouri? Anything would be helpful the good, the bad and the ugly! THX!! ...
Has anyone had any experience with this company? I sent my resume for a job posting and was contacted right away. The fishy thing (to me anyway) was that they didn't even want me to TEST for the position! What is that about? EVERY MT position I have EVER been a candidate for has wanted me to test. But nope, I had a phone interview and the next thing I know I am being offered a position. RED FLAG? ...
Has anyone heard of or worked for this company? They had a job ad on the Job Board earlier this week which I applied for. I searched the archives but absolutely nothing came up. Anyone here work there or know someone who does, please share any info about this company. Their recruiter was very nice and did offer me a position, but before I accept I would like to know more about them. Thanks for any information you may have. ...
Anyone heard of this company. We got a flyer from them today at work and they say they only charge 6.5 c per line, all US-based, no outsourcing. Looked up their website and they say they are one of the largest transcription companies in the US (never heard of them). Would love to know how they can pay their apparently "highly skilled" transcriptionists when they only charge 6.5 c per line. ...
Did some weekends ER reports to DW Medical Transcription, Atlanta, GA from June 20 to Dec 15. They still owe $1,400 for Oct to Dec work. Their accountant lied "Your check has been mailed. Please do not send any Emails telling me when and what I need to mail to you" and the owner/manager, Felicia made false promise “A check will go out to you next Friday on the 15th of this month”. NOT RECEIVED THE PAYMENT SO FAR AND NO RESPONSE FOR MY EMAILS. Their attorney said ...
This company is unbelievable....sent resume to them to get a letter back from stating that I had to have a proof of passing a certified HIPAA course which ok I get that but then it goes on to state that they want proof of having $300,000 of general liability insurance and want $250 dollars from me as a deposit on their software. Here is the biggest kicker.....they pay 7 cents a line. That is ridiculous. ...
Our facility recently contracted with Nuance and all MT's were "offered" a position with Nuance. What should we expect? Has anyone worked for or currently working for this company? ...
If anyone has knowledge of this company, would you please share what you think of it. Enough work, flexible or not, platform, percent of ESL dictators, pay on time. All this and anything else you would care to share would be much appreciated. Thank you. ...
