Is Webmedx worth testing and applying for? How much straight

I'm curious about the MME certification/position. Can anyone please give some honest insight as to what the difference in pay is, what the testing for the position is like, etc. I would like to apply for the position in 2 months and would like to know what to expect. If I take the CMT test the goal is to increase my income from my current earnings as a full time MT/ME. But is it worth the $$ and time required to prepare for and take the CMT test?
