Is FutureNet a good company to work for? Do they have benefits and pay rate?

The program itself is extremely basic and can error out a LOT. No benefits that I know of. Pay for MTs basic, for QA poor - I'm really surprised they aren't on the list of companies being sued for less than minimum wage compensation. The accounts are largely extremely difficult ESL - I've been at this 28 years and it was horrible to even me. They charge you 20.00 to overnight your check to you, more than the going rate for overnight mail.

IC status, but must work a shift you select from what they have available. They tend to always need 2nd and 3rd shifts. Absolutely no benefits. As usual, no guarantee of work, and that means there is often a lack of work even though you must work your scheduled shift. Work is lacking even if you are assigned multiple accounts. The lack of work includes evenings, night shift, weekends, holidays, and includes acute care accounts. The company has various rules regarding docking pay and locking you out of the system, many legitimate, some extreme based on lack of work. Pay is average for industry. Platform is stable, but basic. You need to buy your own add-on short cut program that works with Word for Windows. Both traditional typing transcription and a lot of voice recognition.

This company does not have benefits. Everyone is an IC, but you need to choose a schedule. No matter how many accounts you work on, there is a lack of work at any time of day and most days of the week. One needs to work more hours than their assigned shift and even then, it's a struggle to get enough lines depending on your personal goals. The majority of the work is speech recognition, but a few accounts still have some work in traditional transcription. The accounts are heavy with ESL and challenging dictations (in-house takes the easier work).

KS seems to be getting lower and lower in the popularity with emplooyees test. I worked for them once but left for the reasons everyone is talking about. There was no communication.
