Tried registering it yet? Have fun. Couldn't get it to register online. Calling the phone number did no good, either. Apparently, my brain can't deal with technology anymore. Couldn't figure out what my employee number was (wasn't any number I could find), and there was no activation code where the computer voice said it should be.

If you log in there, on the home page announcements (sort of on the right above the HIPAA announcement), it says, please use code XXXX and gives a number. Not sure if it is an employee specific number, so I wont give it out here, but yours should be there. I just tried it, and it issued me a PIN for the card.

When did we get a login for exponent? I don't have any record of that.

It was something we had to review on line. I at first thought it was another module when in fact it was exponent that contained a lot of information. You may have deleted it.

I know someone else that works for TT who said she wasn't going to view exponent, it was a waste of time, hence, cannot get code for gift card.

In the process of shifting emails from old system to personal, something probably did get missed. Did find something from October about it, but when I tried to set something up, exponent didn't accept my info. Guess I'll wait for Monday, contact mgr, see if she has any further suggestions. Why couldn't they send a card that can actually be used?? Crazy.

Actually the tutorial was very informative. It has all of our information, contacts, pay stubs, etc, all in one place.

Not crazy to send a card, it was a nice gesture. What is crazy is someone who is not appreciative and didn't follow instructions from October.

I am appreciative of the card. Thanks for the info on using the old email. That did work to get me into the system. Apparently, I had set it up some time ago & didn't log the login info. I still can't get the card activated because the ID number didn't work, then tried a few other possibilities, still nothing. So, while I'm ahead of where I was a few minutes ago, still can't activate the card. I'm frustrated that's all, not trying to be rude about a gift. Some cards are much easier to use than this one. Life right now is complicated enough. Guess it's just a bad moment.

Card process says 4-digit code. Employee ID is only 3 digits. I used every ID code in the record, even added a 0 to the 3-digit ID after just the 3 numbers didn't work. I don't know what else to try. 4 digits of social didn't work either (didn't expect it to, but tried it anyway). Anyone up for a puzzle? :)

the code is on the home page once you log into Exponent, where you view your check stubs? To the right it says, a small token of appreciation...remember to use code XXXX and gives a 4 digit code. Its not related to your actual employee ID number.

Thanks for your help and patience. Finally got the info. The card screen said a hint of ID number, so that's what I assumed it meant. The actual message I needed to see being in red made it hard to read, so I missed it until now. For those who were getting frustrated with me, I'm not stupid. There are types of print & colors I can't read well, sometimes not at all. It's frustrating for me too. Thanks Chica for your help.

person on the phone that kept telling me when it asked for the 3-digit code on the back of the card and kept telling me it wasn't valid that I should put a 4-digit number when it asked for the 3. I thought I was going to lose my mind but I finally figured it out and it stopped telling me after about 10 tries that it wasn't valid. Oy-vey

Check to make sure you entered the card number correctly and that you entered the CVV code to the right and that it is correct on that first page. If you have tried it a few times, you may have to go back and reenter the security words as well.

(I entered my card number incorrectly first, so had this same issue.) It should work!
You may have tried it too many times with the wrong info - wait and call HR.

I received a beautiful Christmas card in the mail and inside was a VISA card from Transcend wishing me a Merry Christmas and the card even says "thank you" on it!  I wasn't expecting that.  I've only been with them a little over a month!  I'm even more impressed with them now.  I got a calendar last year from my previous employer.  That was nice, but this is even better.  Did anyone else receive one? I tried to use my giftcard today and it was refused. It was give by transcend, a visa giftcard, and it was refused when i tried to use it. So, for MT week, I was one of the finalists for the MT of the year contest. I made it to the final round, thus getting a 100.00 gift card from MModal. Well, on my last check stub under the deductions is a category called "taxable prizes" and listed under that is my 100.00 gift card. I got my MLS weak (pun intended) gift. Actually, I kind of like it. I do keep a note pad on my desk and jot things down while I work...not always work related, but hey! It seems more useful than the leather mousepad I got from Spheris years ago. I would have prefered a cash bonus or some free PTO, but they probably got a deal on the thousands of these gifts that they ordered and the actual cost to them was minimal.
