If you had to choose between Proscript and Transcend, which would it be? - TheySaidWhat

Just looking for opinions. Don't see a lot of recent stuff on Proscript on here.
I think working for either could drive you to bankruptcy - IMHO

I've never worked for Transcend but do follow the threads here. Actually, it sounds like some of their tactics are the same as ProScript's. When I worked for PS about a year ago, they would send out "SOS" emails constantly about there being work on the system, we weren't working hard enough, "all hands on deck," etc., when, in fact, there might be 6-10 reports on the account they were referring to. This was CONSTANT, 24/7. Also, their editing rate is only, I believe 3 cpl. Hard to support yourself (much less a family) on that, and from what I understand, more of their accounts are going to VR all the time.
I won't speak to Transcend, since I've no first-hand experience with them. However, I do notice other posters referring to the constant barrage of emails, etc., which makes me think Transcend sounds like a much bigger version of ProScript.
Good luck in your decision, but be prepared that ProScript WILL want a schedule, and you might want to create a new email account just to handle the innumerable emails you'll be getting from them if you take a position ;-)
Why not both? Would equal one full-time job. (Not sarcastic) - ...

Transcend offered me my pick of schedules. Perhaps you could find out your schedule with Proscript first, then set your Transcend schedule once you know. I am finding the Transcend job much more PRN/part-time than full-time (on my account, the work I get is late evenings and weekends, the usual high-volume times, but still not enough for FT status).
I'd choose McDonald's with that choice line up. - Just saying.
Still weighing my options and am not sure which way to go. I understand FT and PT got a cut in pay, but not ICs. Is this true? Any other downside to IC status other than the SE tax and being lowest on the totem pole to get work when it's slow? ...
The inguinal ligament was lifted up the artery, at which point there was significant amount of bleeding, which was controlled with finger pressure.
Do I get rid of was, which I clearly hear, so it makes sense. Or, does another way work? ...
Does anybody know which MT specialty offers the best pay rate? I was told by one of my instructors that pathology and radiology were this highest paid MTs around. Another instructor thought that specializing in OP reports would offer the greatest income potential. Thanks ...
I've been looking for weeks. The hospital I've been IC with for years is getting rid of all ICs - going totally VR and keeping only their existing employees. I've tried to be very selective, looking for that great little company somewhere that would treat me with a little respect and value my years of experience. Well, now I'm to the point that I need to start bringing in a paycheck ASAP. I've been offered both M-Modal and Nuance - which were my v ...
After browsing around in FIESA, I found what looks to be an instruction manual for the people who audit us and after looking at it, it sure does look like they can pick and choose which reports to audit, rather than randomly. I have also had the worst dictators audited more than the good ones. Of course it's easier to find a mistake that way and easier to keep our pay down! Remember 7 cpl is really equal to only 3.5 cpl if most of your jobs are VR. ...
I have full-time job offers right now from both Synernet and Amphion and I don't know what to do. They are both for the same shift/days. Synernet is straight typing and Amphion is mostly VR. I just don't know what do choose. Anybody have opinions? ...
instead of Production Hours? I want to add some PTO to my timecard this pay period but I don't know how. I went to learning under HR but still can't figure out how to add PTO.
Gracias!

Which would be the best choice? In the event that you had a great account at Webmedx on 3rd shift based on production rates, which would give you the most money? Decisions, decisions! Any comments? ...
Thinking of applying at Proscript. Can anyone tell me the pay, benefits, QA, etc? Also, I am planning on working night shift, so do they run out of work often at night or is the work plentiful and is there a night shift diff? TIA. ...
I recently went to work with Proscript after 9 years of hell at Spheris and 1 year of the same thing with Medquist and I love it. I have a great hospital, great supervisor and flexilbility. I do work evenings though and that is my choice. The system is pretty decent. I can see a few things I would like to change, but for the most part, it's not bad. Money, (are we getting paid for this?), seems about the same, but I am still learning the account, so I don't feel I am up to sp ...
If so, where, I run out of work continuously. I'm not bashing anyone, just dont think I should keep all my eggs in one basket and would like to see what others have done.
Thanks. ...
This is for anyone thinking of going to work for Proscript (I understand that they are advertising): This is NOT the Proscript that was a great, great company to work for some years ago. That crew was the old ddi crew and they brought the ddi corporate culture with them: Fair to clients, fair to employees, and they valued their employees equally with their clients. They would attempt to work with an MT to see how to get any problems resolved. &n ...
Does anyone work for Proscript? I read where they were hiring, but I also heard they have no work, once you start working for them. Just wondering if I should waste my time with another disappointing company, that offers so much and delivers so little and we are hung out to dry. ...
Does anyone know if Proscript Documentation is the same company as Proscript? I once worked for Proscript and I just applied at Proscript Documentation and took their test and realized it was the same account I worked on with the other PS. Are they related? I know Proscript does overflow work and I am wondering if they are a subsidiary of PS Documentation. ...
