If so, where, I run out of work continuously. I'm not bashing anyone, just dont think I should keep all my eggs in one basket and would like to see what others have done.

Intermittently, I seek a 2nd source of income and if anybody asks me, I am honest about it. In fact, I told Proscript about my Siance fiasco. They understand people are broke and want steady income; this recession has hurt a lot of pocketbooks. Their system is a stand-alone program so a 2nd company usually doesn't interfere with your Proscript program on your desktop.

Intermittently, I do work for more than 1 company. Proscript hasn't minded so far. If they do down the road, I will make changes if need be.

I am too worried about finance to keep all my eggs in one basket. If I have x-amount of spare hours and I am not needed at Proscript, then why not make a little extra and work another deal on the side. Just be careful that you don't shirk responsibilities with either employer and there's no grief, no worry, nobody cares and you can do what you do - left to your own devices mostly.

I am open about my moonlighting cause my manager gets in my system and loads their program and my other job is usually hangin' out on my desktop as well. Really workin' on hidin' that aren't you? LOL!! I am an open book.

Only recommendation - schedule your installation for your 2nd job early a.m. in case something goes wrong and you need to reinstall Proscribe. Siance deleted Proscribe on Friday night so I couldn't work Fri-Sat-Sun - they reloaded Monday afternoon. Missed a lot of work. Bad mistake!!!! Just schedule accordingly - earlier in the day so you have time to "repair" if need be without missing work.

I just need a little more security. I know most of the work is later in the day EVERYWHERE but I am more of a morning person.

Yes, I got a second job last summer. When my account switched to VR, I saw the handwriting on the wall (the 50% pay cut coming). Now with the continuous no jobs available, my second job has become my primary and Proscript pretty much my secondary. It's very sad because I hold no ill toward the company. It is what it is.

That is extremely irritating to apply for jobs posted by companies when they are more than one employee already out of work. Sick of it.

I recently went to work with Proscript after 9 years of hell at Spheris and 1 year of the same thing with Medquist and I love it. I have a great hospital, great supervisor and flexilbility. I do work evenings though and that is my choice. The system is pretty decent. I can see a few things I would like to change, but for the most part, it's not bad. Money, (are we getting paid for this?), seems about the same, but I am still learning the account, so I don't feel I am up to sp ...

I just started, but the date I got was today for payday, yet it is not in my bank. They told me I do not have to wait for direct deposit, that it is right off the bat (rather than waiting the usual two checks or so with any other place).
