I don't know what is going on and as usual the communication sucks, but I'm more than a little concerned.

Well if you are that concerned then take it up with your manager, supervisor or HR. There has been plenty of communication and you have all numbers that is needed to call the people who can give you the answers that you are so concerned.

I called my contacts more than once and I got the information I need. Nobody on this board can answer anything, except add to your drama.

I am an employee who cares for their company. I am sick of people causing drama when there is no need to. Go to the people you should be going to. It isn't anyone's business what goes on at any company unless you have no other recourse but go to a public board.

I think we all DO have a reason to worry since this IS the second time this EXACT same thing happened. The last time was the year before last and it took almost a WEEK before it was resolved! This is the first place I have worked where this has happened. The first time...okay, crap happens, but another time, the same time of the year? Come on! Never a "true" explanation, just a "mishap" as an explanation.. PlEASE!!

As for the response of "why don't we take it up with upper management?" It has been taken up with them. They direct us to human resources. If contacting human resources you mostly get a voice recording, and if you do talk to someone they say,"We are working on it." So, no one has any other answers. Where are we supposed to vent our concerns and frustrations???? Maybe the labor board???

I can't believe you are reacting to this the way you are. The issue was totally explained in the emails and it is being resolved. Grow up and realize this is not a perfect world. Try to have a little patience and understanding. Axolotl is absolutely the best MT company in the country, offer their employees more in terms of pay and benefits, and there are more than a few MTs out there who would love to have your job.

I'd love to know exactly HOW it was explained?? Nothing but a vague answer of a "mishap," which by the way 2 years ago was the SAME excuse for the SAME exact thing happening, and "we're working on it." Of all the years I have been there I have NEVER complained about them... Not even when it took a WEEK the last time it happened. Nothing has been explained in the least. We will see if it is truly resolved tomorrow. I remember hearing the same thing a couple years ago, too.

I also was here 2 years ago when it happened. Patience and understanding did not allow me to send flowers to a friend's funeral this morning. Patience and understanding did not allow me to give my son a $20 bill for his lunch this morning instead of a few dollars today and hopefully tomorrow morning. So, anybody who wants to work at Axolotl, get your resume out; you can have my spot. And, I hope they will have patience and understanding when they don't get 2 weeks' notice, because in 2 weeks, they'll notice I am not there. Peace out!!!

Is it only me or is anyone else losing serious money here? for the past 6 months I have NOT been able to make more than 950 dollars a month take-home. now with the new program my pay is even less. Please, is this happening to anyone else or am I being singled out. no matter what I do I cannot make more than 220 to 250 dollars a week in may paycheck, and am onily getting paid twice a month. I am short about 6 hours with mmodal now. IS IT JUST ME they are doing this to? ...

Recently started with Axolotl (now part of United Health Group). I have 18 years experience and the account they put me on has to be THE WORST I have ever experienced, 99.9% horrible ESL's, on top of which their M*Modal platform is very, very slow. I have worked at other companies using M*Modal and did not find this to be the case with them. This account is VR and they pay by the hour because apparently the dictators and platform are so bad, an MT can't make any money by the line. Also ...

Is it straight MT or do they have VR also? Affordable benefits? Would appreciate any information. 2 MTs are filing a TAA petition. 3 are needed to apply online ourselves. It is just a petition, nothing against the employer and, if nothing comes of it, at least we stood up to let the federal government know we are losing our jobs to overseas and due to technology.
