Any Synernet MTs know who the new supervisor - since TL stepped down

I missed the conference call, which by the way was limited to the first what...25. Don't know if it was mentioned in that call or not since the ones who were left out are never updated on what was said in the meeting. Do we e-mail the helpdesk now for supervisory questions?

I do know her name is Trudi, not sure if she has officially started but she has posted something on the message board (which, by the way, doesn't identify her as co-manager). Not sure what you mean by supervisory questions, most things would be handled by the help desk, but there are the supervisors and leads too. Just depends on the question as to who you would ask.

I saw the message board posts by TG. If she is the new manager to be, I think we're in trouble. She loves Speech Magic, and apparently loves her initials behind her name. Synernet policy seems to be to keep everyone in the dark. No team leads are introduced, no comanager, no one acknowledges when someone leaves, and the phone calls are a joke. If important information is being relayed, then more than 25 people should be allowed to attend and/or there should be a summary of what was discussed issued to all employees. For now, I'm just keeping my head down and trying to fly below the radar.

Once you get her name on the message board, it's easy to do a search to learn of her background and even read an article she wrote for Advance.

and was hired before TL's change was announced. I am just not impressed with this TG so far. To post a bunch of credentials behind your name in a simple message board post seems pretentious and overly impressed with yourself. Plus, any fan of AHDI is no friend to the MT (just my opinion).

I just read TG's article from Advance. She makes me shudder. That's where my job is going. Don't want any part of her. What a cold fish! MT career is over. Thanks for the heads up.

Speech Magic and her attitude about the whole thing is enough for me. As my mom used to say, "I was looking for a job when I found this one." Time to polish up the resume. TL might have been a bit scattered and not so great at answering e-mail, but she is not cold and full of herself.
