Another job ad for MedScribe but slightly different company name - Wondering

I work there and it has always been MedScribe Information Systems, Inc. This ad says MedScribe Services LLC. Does anyone have insight as to what this means? I loved the previous poster's comment "the silence is deafening." So true! I've run out of work more in the past 3 weeks than I have since I've been there.

The ad on mtjobs for MedScribe...Naples, FL is the same company as the one in Jacksonville. The owners live in Naples, and apparently they are posting ads with that office's address because too many people are feeling negative about MedScribe Jacksonville. I worked for them for a very short while. The recruiter is good salesman, but the woman who is the supervisor is martinette. She actually phoned me one time when she thought I was taking too long to transcribe a report, to see if I was actually working. Very, very nervy, rude and just plain ill tempered. They also put on clinic notes when I had been hired for acute care and refused to change my assignment. I didn't stay long - I had more experience than the shrew who was managing the place and didn't feel like being treated like a serf.

This company is now using a Naples address instead of Jacksonville. Once I heard the recruiter's name, I knew this to be the same company as the one in Jacksonville. In my opinion, if they're this sneaky during the recruitment process, what are they like when you work for them?

Thanks for the heads up. Also then deduct $2 per mistake and 2 types of mistakes they deduct the cost of the whole report. NOT!!!! He is a great recruiter but don't speak much for the company.

I've worked for MedScribe out of Jacksonville for a few years and never heard of them deducting $ for errors. Is this something new, or is this a different MedScribe you are talking about?

Ive been with Medscribe for a year and a half and have never heard of the $2 deduction for error. We all did recently take a pay cut of 1 cpl on a temporary basis due to loss of 2 major accounts; however, I have never heard of that.

Well it is true, with the "NEW" account they have going. According to MedScribe it is not their policy but the facility's policy. Also you will not get paid for 14 days or so after your 2 weeks worked. Supposidly common but I have never worked as an IC and not gotten pain biweekly on time. Not worth this at 6 cpl..

I work for MedScribe right now and they have never deducted anything for mistakes. I have an interview with M*Modal this afternoon because they cut our line rate by 1 cent and we are running out of work all the time. Also, some of the folks that work there are very very rude and condescending!!

The company on the job seekers list is MediScribe not MedScribe. I work for MedScribe, also took a 1 cent cut and now scrape to pay the bills. They have never deducted pay for errors (thank goodness). That must be a different company. I also am out of work right now, that is why I am posting this reply!!!

Go apply for MedScribe Services LLC on MTJOBS and see if in the contract there is an agreement you have to sign that tells about having your pay docked for errors..and it is MEDSCRIBE NOT MEDISCRIBE

I only know I work for MedScribe in Florida and there is nothing in my contract about deductions in pay for errors. The jobs on the job seekers board are for MEDISCRIBE. I just checked and that company is out of Kentucky.

As I said on MTJOBS it is MedScribe NOT Mediscribe. Go apply for the position they have open now, for the need for 5 transcriptionist for a "new account" then read your contract and see if you do not get deductions for mistakes (after your first mistake) $2 per....

I work for same company and have been running out of work more and more, and I'm on five accounts. Work will run out, then when it starts coming in, I'll get jobs that were dictated the day before. So were they sitting in limbo? Do those hospitals have inhouse MTs, and we're getting jobs only when they are backlogged?

Anyone know what is going on with Medscribe? There has been little to no work for weeks now with promises of more work coming in. I know they have lost a few accounts but even the accounts still there seem to be dictating a lot less than what they normally do so I wonder if they are headed on their way out too. Archives are divided -- half happy and treated well and doing the work they expected to do, paid on time, good benefits. Other half got jerked around a bit, given different kinds of work than expected, said line counts are incorrect, missed a couple of paychecks (which is strange since they do direct deposit - maybe they didn't back then.) I've been with Mediscribe, New Jersey for quite sometime as an MT. They have always been just nice people to work for. This company was on my list of companies to apply to because of positive comments posted here. I just went to their website to start the process, and this is listed under "Employee Benefits:" Taxes paid -- employer portion It is right there in the midst of vision, dental, health insurance, etc.!
