I use it to supplement my income. I don't know how anyone could actually survive on a transcriptionists salary. Back when my kids were little I was making $18.50/hr as a QA and loved it. That and child support kept me afloat. But the company was sold and we got laid off. It was all downhill from there. I'm looking for a different job now.
